the thing is, if we're in the process of desexualizing breasts, that means they're currently still sexualized. meaning drawing an underage girl topless is still fucked up. because we're not to the point in our society where breasts are actually seen as non-sexual. like. come on.

tbh I think the audience has a huge bias of, realistically, having dealt with more bullies that are like Jan than bullies that are like Seiji. So people are getting really personally caught up in Jan's actions and not thinking, realistically, which one is scarier and targeting more vulnerable people. (hint: it's Seiji) Like, Jan makes me kind of uncomfy cuz she reminds me of one of my abusive ex-friends, but Seiji is still wayyy scummier.

no that’s definitely, 100%, exactly what it is. there’ve been a ton of people saying they dont like january because she reminds them of their own bullies, whereas seiji extorting a homeless kid is a much more abstract concept they dont have experience with and so dont really feel the impact of.
