Possible hot take but I don't like when gacha games choose to advertise their game by saying "log in NOW and use [insert really simple code with a character name here] to claim 1225 FREE PULLS and a FREE [insert really hot female character that they use only for marketing purposes when it turns out she's really bad in game here]!"
There IS such thing as being too generous and it's always irked me. I want to play your game for a good story and gameplay, not because you're giving me the entire cast for free (+gooning opportunities). It just doesn't work.
If you don't have a good story, a good battle system (if there is one - which there usually is) or good characters and your only reason I should download this game is "free money and women with over exaggerated breast physics" then I don't want it. Simple as that. I LIVE for a good story and if you want to cater to a wider audience than just 40 year olds, then I recommend you change your strategy. It's also misogynistic in a way (call me 'too woke' idgaf.)
I get it's probably considered 'smart marketing' and I can understand why, I just Hate it.
