Forgot to put some of the pics from TMG up here.
I regret not being able to snap many of my own pics. There were a lot of UTDR cosplays this year and I wanted so badly to explode into a pile of rainbows and confetti, but I held myself together.
Anyway, this is only a small portion of what was there. Hopefully others posted more elsewhere!
If you see yourself here please feel free to tag yourself!
Attempted to draw this Bandanna Dee cosplayer I saw at a convention from memory!
NEWGROUNDS PHILLY MEETUP this 2024! Get ready!
TooMany Games 2025 part 1 (Saturday).
It was more fun than last year, only if it was because I wasn't in pain.
💙❤️
So... I went to TooManyGames. It was fun! On Friday & Saturday I went in costume, dressed Princess Garnet til Alexandros XVII from Final Fantasy IX! Not on Sunday though, which I will explain in a bit.
Just as my sibling and I left the convention on Saturday is when I FINALLY see a Zidane cosplayer! I had been wanting to get a picture with a Zidane cosplayer or even a Vivi cosplayer, but luck was not on my side! I did ask them to make sure, but considering we were outside at night, I wasn't too keen on trying to take a photo practically in the dark outside the convention center... I was also tired and wanted to get home. Carrying the train so that people don't constantly step on it makes things a bit tiring too, and then it was a bit rainy Saturday, so both when I left home and got back home, I had to make sure my dress didn't get muddy in the driveway.
Here's a picture of me as Princess Garnet, once again! My sibling took the photo, and I wish they had centered it just a bit more, but whatever, it's still good. I was doing my best to smile, but sometimes even if I am happy, it's a bit hard to hold a smile. Also, I probably should have brushed the wig just a bit, maybe taken off my headphones, but firstly, I'm still getting to use to some things when it comes to cosplays, and secondly, I am on the autism spectrum, so headphones can help block out some potential stimuli for me in a way. I work an outside job, I don't wear them all the time, so it's also just a habit of wearing headphones as well that I am working on.
Anyways, here are two things I bought at the convention as well! First is a standee of Golbez from Final Fantasy IV! Second is a plush of who else but Garnet from Final Fantasy IX! I LOVE these, they are so amazing! The Golbez is so cool, love the pixel style! And the Garnet is so cute! For the Garnet plush, I almost wish it was here in the gown so that we matched, but I do really like this look as well and have considered it for a future cosplay.
Oh! And one more thing, figured I would add this since the last day of TMG was the same day as the most recent Death Battle: I quite like Senty Vs Superboy Prime! It's fun! I like the beginning, I like the middle, and I especially like the end! Who would have thought that this Death Battle would have a happy ending?
Probably more people than I expect, but whatever! I do occasionally scroll around forums and such online for stuff about Death Battle and if I remember correctly, there were more than a few people at least hoping for a happy ending. I do also really love that they primarily used pixel animation for this battle with what looks to be some 2D drawn animation, which overall I think is quite fluid and really sells both the combatants. Especially The Void and how he goes about doing things.
Sentry Vs Superboy Prime also now has one of my favorite sets of line in DB. "Bye-bye Bob. It's time to play God." I think I got chills first time I heard that. Just overall, I think the voice acting is amazing in Sentry Vs Superboy Prime, mostly on Sentry's part but Superboy Prime also has really good lines, even if they don't as easily stick out to me. There's obviously "I'll kill you... to death!" Though that line is more of a remake of one famous/infamous line in the comics. So, Superboy Prime's line about happy endings is also good.
i have 1 shikishi board to give out at tmg. failblr choose who I draw
