Liam's eyes flick over to Theo, his eyes roaming greedily over the older man's relaxed frame, carefully watching the Chimera where he stands on the outskirts of the rambunctious group of teens. His blood sings in his veins when the Chimera's hazel eyes drop to meet his, Theo's soft smile turning into a devilish smirk that has Liam's heart thumping heavily in his chest.
Liam is jerked back into the present by Mason's excited voice " let's play truth or dare" the human exclaims, bouncing excitedly as his eyes flick between Liam and Theo a mischievous glint in his eyes. They all turn to face Theo where he is stubbornly standing at the edge of the room before turning to the beta, expectant looks shining in their eyes. Theo lets out a scoff " No, no way" the Chimera refuses vehemently, his lips turned down into a menacing scowl, Liam can smell the anxiety rolling off the man in waves, the bitter scent causing protectiveness to flare in his chest, his glowing eyes flit to the Chimera, finding his sharp eyes already watching him.
Liam strides over to the Chimera, slamming his hand against the wall beside the man's head, effectively pinning him to the wall, keeping a carefully maintained distance between their bodies "You scared Theo?" The beta teases, his breath fanning hotly across Theo's face, a satisfied smirk pulling at his lips as he hears the subtle hitch in the older man's breath.
Theo screws his eyes shut, unable to look into Liam's intense blue eyes, his heart hammering in his chest, he presses a hand to Liam's firm chest, his fingertips tingling with the sensation of Liam's warm torso beneath his fingers. The beta quirks a questioning eyebrow as the Chimera's heart stutters in his chest. Theo scowls at the beta but doesn't resist as he forcefully drags him down into the circle of friends, sitting close to his side, the warmth radiating from his body a comforting presence beside him.
"I think Theo should go first" Mason declares, Theo's eyebrows shoot up into his hairline as he spots the humans mischievous eyes. "So Theo, truth or dare?" Mason asks smirking at him from across the crowded circle.

"Top or bottom?" Mason asks, raising a curious eyebrow, a large grin splitting his lips.
The words register in Theo's mind causing him to choke on the water he'd been sipping, he sputters breathlessly as he sucks in greedy lungfuls of air into his burning chest. " What?" Liam's face heats, he throws mason a betrayed glower before turning to face Theo. "Guys, I think you should leave" Liam states calmly as he holds Theo's gaze, the Chimera's hazel eyes a swirling mix of confusion and intrigue. The puppy pack all obligingly leave, their amused chuckles breaking up the silence as they slowly file out whispering amongst themselves.
"Explain" Theo demands pushing himself to stand, carefully running a trembling hand through his hair, a nervous tick the beta had often seen the man display.
Liam stands too, brushing his sweaty palms against the coarse denim of his jeans. "Alright, fuck" Liam groans raking a nervous hand through his hair. "Me and Mason made a bet" he begins, his eyes flicking up to meet Theo's, the Chimera quirking a brow as he waits for the beta to continue. "He thought you were a top, I disagreed" Liam states, a challenging gleam in his eyes as they bore into Theo's.
Theo swallows thickly, his lips parting as he breathes heavily, his chest heaving. "W-why did you disagree?" Theo asks quietly confusion clear in his shaky voice.

A wry chuckle falling from his lips as he drops his head to the door, his heart thundering in his chest as he hears Liam stride across the room, swiftly closing the space separating them.
