Liam teasing Theo using his fingers and mouth for hours edging the pretty chimera till he’s crying and begging, overstimulated and desperate all at once. Liam just tells him “Such a needy puppy, who’s a sweet little coywolf for me”
Scott is a soft dom but not a push over dom, he’s not allowing his subby to get away with bratting and being disrespectful. He corrects his sub’s behavior as quick as it starts.
Liam hooking Theo’s collar to his belt loop so all Theo can do is lay his head on Liam’s lap, sucking on Liam’s thumb to keep him quiet because “You’re such a mouthy little slut, I’m sure you can put your mouth to better use” Liam presses down in Theo’s tongue every so often gagging the sweet coywolf making him drool all over himself. Liam teases him about being a messy wet slut. Theo just whines and squirms, he can’t look up without choking himself on his collar and he can’t rub off on Liam because of the awkward angle he’s leashed at. All he can do is whine and whimper.
If the show writers were serious, Scott constantly taking pain any chance he got would've been a good, and even being a character flaw, because the implication of what he's doing is self harm. Especially with the way he internalises the "pain makes you human" idea, and how much pain he siphons from other people.
If they wanted to take it up a notch, the plot would be pushed by him not being satisfied with the amount of pain he's taking, so he's so used to it that he goes out of his way to feel pain. And this could be manifested in any form. Like him stashing wolfsbane in his room, him sneaking into the hospital to siphon pain from patients without his mom knowing.
Then that habit becomes dangerous, because it affects his everyday life. It becomes so extreme that he literally cannot function without it and that kinda causes a disconnect between him and who he really is; wanting to help people. So it could be more about the pain, and less about helping the person in need.
So what he intended as a method to keep him human is actually making him less human (or more human, because addiction is real human issue), then his behaviour switches from calm to erratic, patient to wrecklessness. Then, people around him start to notice something is wrong.
