They might be small but, it is always fun when you make a nice cast next to some structure and a Bass explodes on your top water fly. This little one gulped down a size 12 bright green with yellow legs Mighty Micro. I caught three on top water and one on a sinking fly. Unfortunately it doesn't make up for the one that got away. Something big ate my only size 10 Crossover that had flash. I am used to small fish in these ponds. I put too much pressure on it and when it rose to the top and slashed it broke my 4lb test leader. I won't make that mistake again. Lesson learned, play them gentle until you know how big they are.
