The fact that Glyn Johns was making the same "Torchlit"-joke back in 1969 as we were in 2021 is sending me.
Glyn: He's not gonna give up! He really won't give up!
Paul: *laughs politely* No it's alright, go on.
Glyn: He'll be saying this as you walk on stage, you know, like on the night of the show: 'Well I really think uh..." *laughs*
MLH: I might- I think-
Glyn: TORCHLIT!
Michael: If anybody asked me point blank what we should do I would say torchlit at the top of Africa, but no one's asked me that question.
Paul: See, the thing is Ringo definitely doesn't wanna go abroad, so that means we don't go abroad.
Michael: Mmm
Paul: Maybe we'll go abroad next time. But this time no.
