Mamo, of course, took it a step further and signed it with his and his character's name, and gave a shoutout to his voice acting partner for the game, complete with his happy little hearts and stars. Mamo loves being extra LOL (I do love his heart/star combination exclamation point...).
Also love it because it's so Yuri and Flynn vibes with Yuri leaving a single quick comment, and Flynn leaving this excited and happy note... Mamo being extra is Flynn coded in such a hilarious way.

First and foremost of course, we got some top tier seiyuu here. There's Yuuki Aoi (Diane from Seven Deadly Sins)/Horie Shun (Asta from Black Clover) as the MC, Toriumi Kosuke (Mista from Jojo Part 5) as Kaeya, Ono Kensho as Diluc (Giorno from Jojo Part 5), Murase Ayumu as Venti (Hinata from Haikyuu), Saito Chiwa (Senjougahara from the Monogatari Series) as Jean and many, many more both in game and to come since this game is still being added to right now.
The graphics are AMAZING. For example, these are a couple screenshots i took:
The lighting, the shading, the colors!! 😍😍👏🏼
AND in the last pic, that was in co op with a friend of mine. So speaking of which the co op is so smooth for the first week of this game's launch. Barely any complaints. Even with different internet connections, it works almost perfectly. Not to mention, you can play with friends!! It's so much fun just to go around explore or beat enemies up 😂
Which brings me to the gameplay. It depends if you use pc or mobile or ps4 but the principles are the same and really easy to understand. The game has a very extensive tutorial so it wasn't too difficult to understand how everything works. There's also the elemental aspect of the gameplay which is tough to remember at first but at this point I'm just like 'mix elements and if it doesnt work out just switch characters loll'
Now onto everyone's not so favorite part: the gacha aspect. FIRST OF ALL I'd like to say that having not-so-good luck in gacha in general is PERCECTLY FINE. Cause, especially within a good month of launch, we'll have been given 2 or 3 GUARANTEED 4 star characters to play as. So you wouldn't necessarily have to rely on the gacha for good characters unless you wanna get waifus or husbandos for the voice lines or whatever (I'm still working on getting my bois but its fine 🤧🤧)
Overall, the experience I've had since Genshin Impact's launch has been nothing but absolutely amazing. I am a sucker for open world games (I'm still obsessed with Breath of the Wild and since this game was inspired by it, I HAD to try it out) so idk I'm biased?? But don't just take my word for it, I seriously encourage whoever comes across this post to search up the game and try it for themselves if they can. (the specs are kinda scary for pc and mobile but it is what it is 😅 I PLAY ON THE LOWEST GRAPHICS ON PC and the experience is still beautiful as you can see by the screenshots)

You know, for some reason, I’m still reading DakaOtoko even though it’s not really my cup of tea. I was interested in Usaka-san and Arisu’s relationship, but I was really hoping that Usaka-san will bottom, so now that I know that their roles are reversed, I’m not that into it anymore. I thought of laying the whole franchise to rest after volume 6 because I thought that I also deserved a cleaner conscience, but then the cast announcement for the 6th BLCD was released.
Me when I found out that Hayami Sho was voicing Celes-san:
YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND. HAYAMI SHOW ISN’T JUST A VETERAN—HE’S A GEN ZERO! A GEN ZERO!!! HE’S LITERALLY ONE OF THE FOREFATHERS OF ALL THE BL SEIYUUS AND HE’S THE OG DADDY!!! I probably wouldn’t have listened to this if it wasn’t for him. Also, can we all just appreciate how there’s four different generations of seiyuus in here??? We have Hayami Show from Gen 0; Toriumi Kousuke, Takahashi Hiroki, and Hatano Wataru from Gen 1; Hino Satoshi from Gen 2; and Ono Yuuki from Gen 3! Hayami Show has since passed his mantle onto Morikawa Toshiyuki, but as Moririn’s also inactive now in the BL industry and there aren’t any new gen VAs with their type of tone, the future generations of BLCD enthusiasts may never experience that kind of hair-raising tone anymore. 😢 I’m just thankful that I was able to walk this Earth during the time that Hayami Show, Inoue Kazuhiko, Miki Shinichirou, Tsuda Kenjirou, Kuroda Takaya, Okiayu Ryoutarou, and Hanada Hikaru were still active. 🙇 Come on, Takep.
The rest of the cast also did well. I’m in actual awe with Ono Yuuki’s performance here because I think he really did take the time to practice his Spanish diction. I love how he says “gracias” in particular. It sounds very natural and effortless. Also, Junta and Takato has sex in half-Spanish in the last extra which was a bit weird. 😂
I loved the sound direction here. I like the choices of the dance music in particular. I was quite afraid that they would just use some cheesy Spanish music considering that they would only be used in short instances, but they really did incorporate some nice pieces. There’s also a lot of staff involved in the music department and even the Spanish language department, so I guess they really did employ much effort in volume 6 despite how laughably basura the plot was. 😂 You really have to give it to Marine Ent. and Cue Egg Label when it comes to sound direction. Liquor & Cigarettes’ sound direction was so beautiful, and if only wasn’t for the sketchy casting, it would have easily been one of 2018′s best BLCDs. Man, if Supersonic only had that type of budget/dedication, then Saishuu Densha would have been leagues better than it was.
That being said, they actually did rearrange the order of events, so it was a little challenging to keep up. Usaka-san and Arisu’s little backstory that was shown in the last chapter? was put in the first track. There were also a lot of adlibs and cut outs from the dialogues. This would probably be a challenge for beginners, but I still think reading the raws along or first would help some. I read the fan translation on Mangadex, and there are some mistranslations, but they weren’t really that major. I would still recommend listening to this if you’re a fan of a franchise and I would IMPLORE you to listen to it if you’re VA trash like me. LET HAYAMI SHOW YOU HOW IT’S DONE.
