This is my Stoat cat. I have no idea how to describe anything about her than weird, she is very odd and about 1 year old. I love my beautiful Stoat. I mean cat. Thanks for any insight you have!

ummm we only identify cats here? this is clearly closer to some kind of mustelid with the patterning of a blue self cat with high white

I present to you the gamer queen Atari and her 4 cartridges: Arcade(m), Pinball(f), Ping(m) and Pong(f)!

Atari was a stray me and my fiancee took in early January, and since no one really had any experience with cats, we weren't expecting her to be carrying babies - now they're 5 months old and there's always someone with the zoomies.

They're not exactly uncommon, but could I get an ID for them? And maybe some clues on how the father might have looked? Pong has longer fur than her siblings, and all of them are somewhat striped, even Arcade under the right lighting.

atari is a black broken mackerel tabby!

pong looks like a blue self point, ping looks like a black self point, pinball looks like a black mackerel tabby and arcade looks like a black self!

really cool example of how recessive genes can result in a very different looking litter.

as for the father, he was a black based cat, either showing or carrying solid, and either showing or carrying point, with little to no white

those little stripes are called ghost striping, and show up in cats who aren’t genetically tabby!

My mom just adopted this beautiful momma with kitties. My sister says she's a calico colourpoint with lighter colors, even the brown on the ears and tail is light... i think she might also have a bit of tabbyness on the tail.

mama cat looks like a seal tortie point with low white! as far as i can tell, she has two blue self kittens with varying low white spotting!

can you identify our little Pierogi? she's hard to get good pictures of unfortunately..

I feel the struggle to get good photos immensely. Pierogi seems to be a blue self tortoiseshell with medium white!

My two kitties (from the same litter!). Lulu, the female/calico, has blue cross-eyes that vibrate constantly, and she was much lighter as a kitten (don't have any pics from then though :( she was mostly white however and the patches came in as she aged) so some people think she's a point? But idk.

And I've never known what Earl is lol, the male/dark cat.

interesting combination! i think lulu might be a blue tortoiseshell self colourpoint with low white, and earl is most likely a blue self! very very cute and very interesting genetically!
