Daniel looks up from counting the bills, eyes settling on the man turned to him. Confusion written on his face as he looks down at the money, “What do you mean? coffee is only....” He trails off as he looks back up, faintly catching the sight of the prices. He blinks, rather shocked. “Well then, looks like I’m getting a water.”

enzo watched as the other checked the price of coffee. he laughed a little, he found the new prices for everything to be ridiculous but that’s just what happened as the years passed. he’s been watching the cost of living rise for over a hundred years. “i’ll buy you a coffee.” he said, pulling out his wallet. “what do you want?”
