3, 9, 10
Good choices! Alas, the third one has cheating/s5 discussion, so keep that in mind.
3. Have you ever unfollowed someone over a fandom opinion?
Yes, absolutely, but only because they were opinions that made me mad, not ones I just disagreed with. Though, it’s not so much that they made me mad as that they made me mad because they were clearly wrong, my brain said, and then my brain decided to spend a good half hour, minimum, dedicated thinking about how wrong and in what ways, despite the fact that I was never going to do anything with these thoughts. This only needs to happen a couple of times before you decide to cut your losses.
9. Most disliked character(s)? Why?
Uncle Frank is a waste of everyone’s time, especially mine, and he isn’t even fun. Why couldn’t he be the Punisher knock-off? That would have at least made him marginally enjoyable. But nooooo, we’re stuck with him, and he keeps coming back, like, goddamn, dude, I haven’t gotten to see Penny Peabody since 3x19, but I have to watch your ass again? Unforgivable, a slight against me specifically.
10. Most disliked arc? Why?
It’s gotta be the cheating arc, right? Like, the b/a fucking one was bad because it wasted my time, obviously, but the cheating arc wasted my time and blew up absolutely everything but in the most boring way. Like, how fucking dare, Riverdale, how dare you. Just double character assassination, putting two of your canon ships in the ICU, and breaking the bughead fandom’s spirits right as we were heading into a pandemic, what the fuck. I mean, I know they had no way of knowing about the pandemic part, but still, it didn’t help endear the arc to me. It’s a blight upon the show and its legacy, tbh, because it went nowhere and furthered nothing. All it did was destroy, and nothing grew from that destruction. Betrayal, betrayal most foul, Riverdale. For shame.
