Fifth and Sixth Day O' Crossfit
Wow. I thought last week I was sore and dying, but nothing compares to today. But lets start with yesterday-
Yesterday was a lot easier. Our Strength was Back Squats, I've never done them before and had a lot of trouble with them. Most likely because I can barely squat bellow parallel. In fact I didn't know I could squat below parallel without holding onto something until yesterday when my Coach told me he was going to stand behind me so if I fell or couldn't get up he'd help. Turns out I can get below parallel. I did 5@15, 3-3-2 @20, and 1@25.
11/19/14 WOD- "Kings Crown"
I finished at 11:47 I believe (I of course did not write it down and am taking a guess)
Not bad, I was barely sore to tell you the truth.
Its weird when I'm done I always say "you could have worked harder you chickened out!" But today when I was working out I was inwardly telling myself I wasn't allowed to say that anymore, mainly because I was dying.
Today was just plain evil! We started with L-Sits and Handstand Pushups. Both of which I can not even come close to doing. I pretty much just hung off the bar for the L-sits till my arms could't hold (Less than 10sec). Then This really nice guy Tim showed me the starter version of handstands where I stand on two 45ib weights so my hips are high and I attempted to do a pushup. I can get down maybe two inches. Ugh. My goal is to do a complete regular push up by Feb 14th.
10 Cleans @ 45 (I think he had me Jerking it up)
10 Medicine Ball Sit Ups @10ibs. (I was supposed to be 10 Toes to Bar)
I almost started crying during my 2nd box jumps, I don't know why but it was just so hard and my legs were shaking. I really doubted I was going to finnish under the 20m time cap. But some how I pulled the last couple cleans and 10 sit ups out of no where.
whooo! Back to it again tomorrow :)
