Sometimes I'm thankful there's only moderate or poor quality '90s footage of Davis Gaines because I'm 100% sure I wouldn't be able to handle him in HD or 4K. This boot is a struggle and yet he and Tracy Shayne's chemistry is still fully evident and unhinged. This man is crashing out on that portcullis.

Currently listening to one of my favorite Les Misérables recordings ever. Debra Byrne is such a terrific Fantine, and (dare I say?) I like Gary Morris more as Valjean than Colm Wilkinson. Meanwhile, Philip Quast is amazing (as always). Kaho Shimada, Michael Ball, and Tracy Shayne sound heavenly, especially during In My Life/A Heart Full of Love. And, of course, Anthony Warlow is so passionate as Enjolras that I can clearly envision him in my mind.

Back to gifmaking with none other than Davis Gaines of course because I think about Davis Gaines and this MOTN a very normal amount. Gaines gives everything a MOTN should be in terms of hand and leg, but I also will never get over how synced Gaines and Shayne are.
