Plus postponing our Latin test and getting extensions on our History and Philosophy assignments. Deo gratias for an understanding college! The pilgrimage was totally worth it. Even though I had to read and scribble notes on Cicero and Aristotle (for History) while cramped in the college bus for 12 hours.

So tell me... who exactly were Saint Jean-Baptiste Marie Vianney, Saint Peter Julian Eymard, Saint Peter Chanel, Saint Anthony Mary Claret, Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat, Saint Euphrasia Pelletier, Saint Francesca Xavier Cabrini, Saint John Nepomucene Neumann, Blessed Anna Maria Taigi, Blessed Pauline Jaricot and Saint Damien of Molokai all praying to? (They all had a devotion to this little girl saint.)

Extra penance.

This annual Australian pilgrimage is awesome. Last year we had pilgrims from all inhabited continents -- and even a Muslim and a Hindu! By the 3rd day, the Muslim guy sighed, "I don't want to be a Catholic anymore. My feet are too tired." 90 kilometres -- but less, if you're in the schola and have to leave halfway each morning to rehearse for Holy Mass.

Should I pick the white lacy one with the Immaculate Heart... or the one with Our Lady of Lourdes... or the one with the Sacred Heart... or the one with Padre Pio... or the blue one (perfect colour for Marian Masses)... or the Carmelite-brown one to match my dress... or...

Not to mention wax from Easter Vigil/Candlemas!
