❝ Grill... ❞ Was sensei confused? That was the first thought running through Genos’ mind. The second was that he supposed MAYBE he had similarities to a grill? They were metal and hot and he was made of a lot of metal and had a lot of fire power. Plus, his chest plate might sort of look like a grill.

But he wasn’t a grill or a girl if that was what was meant to go there.

Those few words meant a lot to Genos. He blinked a few oily tears away from his eyes, some coating his dark lashes. The reassuring words bought a small smile to the blonde’s lips as hazel eyes gazed back into chocolate ones. “Thank you, sensei. Your words mean a great deal to me. Please know that the same stands for you too”, the teen assured Saitama. It had been one of those ‘emotional’ days for the cyborg. Having Saitama’s support was just what he needed right now.

Getting to his feet, he grabbed a cloth from the wardrobe to dry his tears with, lest they drop to the wooden flooring in the living room. Heaven forbid he make a mess of his sensei’s apartment after such kindness!

monster attacks had dwindled in the past month, but that didn’t mean they were nonexistent. in their own way, the citizens of the city had gotten used to them. it was almost boring, without heroes and villains running rampant in their streets.

enough so that chiaki didn’t really see fit to run and hide when another stereotypical bad guy showed his face. she stayed and watched, as a generic hero with a cape and a basic costume showed up and bashed his face into the pavement so hard, pieces of rubble were kicked up into the air.

without even thinking about it, she knocked one of the speeding pieces of asphalt away, before it could hit her skull.

“owww...” that hurt more than she expected. “excuse me, mister hero... shouldn’t you be more careful with collateral damage...? maybe...”

Defeating a single Urbane was, at this point, nothing but a nice exercise for the witch. The giant brute was too slow to keep up with her relentless attacks, and even its fiery attacks couldn’t reach her, so it wasn’t long before she had beaten it into submission. Then to pieces.

- {  ☾ } - “ Now then, you stay down now. My friends will pick you up soon enough. “

It was good that these particular angels weren’t the talkative type, Bayonetta hated being patronized by the inhabitants of Paradiso. But what was this? It seemed that the witch had had an audience the whole time. Hopefully her hair hadn’t gotten out of place during the fight.

She called out to him, but it seemed he was either in too much shock or lost in thought to hear her. Approaching him, she posed her question once again.

- {  ☾ } - “ ...I said, what in the world are you doing in such a dismal place? “

The Urbane twitched, as if it were going to get back up, but without letting her gaze off of the other she pointed her gun behind her and shot it back down.

oh  man,  it’s  hard  to  choose  just  one  person  ...  but  the  first  writer  who  comes  to  mind  is  @traiinedhard?  jonesy  has  been  a  really  good  friend  to  me  —  our  writing  clicks  (  in  my  opinion,  )  &  like,  i  have  a  lot  of  fun  with  them  ooc  as  well!  we  deadass  streamed  ok  k.o.  for  three  hours  last  night  together,  &  they’re  always  a  good  time  to  play  games  with  or  just  talk  to.  they  were  even  there  to  distract  me  when  i  was  waiting  in  the  emergency  room  after  something  happened  to  a  family  member  of  mine,  &  i  had  their  support  until  like,  three  in  the  morning,  when  my  phone  died.  anyway!  their  dedication  to  saitama  is  really  inspiring  to  me,  i  love  hearing  them  ramble,  &  they’re  a  big  part  of  the  reason  why  i  came  back  to  this  blog.  if  you  aren’t  following  them,  please  do,  i  love  them  so  much!  &  jonesy,  if  you’re  out  there  ...  here’s  a  meme  for  you.
