“Eeeeeeeehhhhhhhh? We were just having a friendly chat, mister! They’re not bothering me at all!” Bennett’s eyes dart to the new face, trying to get a read on his expression.

It’s not like he could feel much pain even if he were attacked, but -- Hm... He guesses he can’t stop someone from protecting him if he is, though.

Even though he wants to believe he can protect himself.

“Nothin’ to worry about here!” But he knows that’s not fully the case, with how hostile that person was being. ‘Friendly chat’, sure.

Saitama, totally unprompted, leans over to Genos, and tugs him closer... into a soft kiss! Wow, someone's sure feeling affectionate tonight. Right after, though, he just cozies up to Genos and leans his head directly on his chest plate, a small goofy smile on his lips. "Thanks for watching this anime with me. Isn't it great?"

Genos was far from being some cold, unfeeling machine but sometimes he kind of wished he was one if only to save himself some of the embarrassment he felt in these moments. He couldn’t blush like a normal person, he didn’t have any capability to do that when there was no blood or veins running through his body, but the mere fact he was built with such intuitive technology that would pick up on exactly what he was thinking even subconsciously meant he still had a blushing equivalent in attached to his most base human instincts.

What looked like now as he was left a little flustered at Saitama’s kiss ( as he often was any time they kissed ) was his body heating up a little and his cooling system activating to counteract it as his brain registered the memory of what it felt like to have cheeks burning with a blush. A whole ridiculous display of some light and sound that Genos tried his best to ignore and play off as nothing even though there wasn’t any way in the world Saitama didn’t notice it every time it happened, especially not when he was still so close and laying right on his chest where most of his vital components were.

❝ I was never one to watch things like this even as a child but yes, it was interesting. This entire experience is... nice. ❞ Saitama close, no monsters in the immediate vicinity, no hero association calls demanding he be somewhere to stop some disaster or another. Just them in their small shared space relaxing, something Genos didn’t indulge in often.

❝ But if you were to replace the main character of this anime then I guarantee the situations he struggled to face would have never been an issue. You could accomplish any goal you set your mind to, Saitama. ❞
