Happy Community Day! Hope everyone got a Bubblegum sheep :)
Goal: be an Amazonian extra in the next Wonder Woman movie. Just need to learn to back flip off a horse while simultaneously shooting a bow. Secondary goal: get rid of that thigh jiggle.
Okay so big news relating to Nihilego and their care. The agent the international police sent to help take care of them and make sure I don’t die finally arrived.
Apparently he’s going to be staying here for the foreseeable future due to the lack of experience when it comes to raising pokemon on my part. His name is jack and he said he’d be willing o answer questions on this blog so there’s that.
He’s not enthused

DONATE HERE
Found on the street with a swollen head and an infection spreading fast — yet he still wagged his tail when someone stopped to help.
Not just all hero wear caps
We live in a capitalist hellscape but at least I get to meet some great people.
One of the best parts of my job is definitely getting to interact with everyone in the gym. I was nervous at first, but the regulars are some of the kindest (if slightly strange) people you'll ever meet. So I thought I'd share some of my favorite regulars here because they make me smile and maybe you'll smile too.
So in no particular order, here are a few of the weird and wonderful people I get to see at work:
.
Backflip Guy
Backflip guy is in his late twenties. He comes in during the evenings and always wears high-top converse. He'll work on a machine for a few sets, then get up and do 2-3 backflips in a row. Then he moves to the next machine. When I asked him why, he simply said: "I don't like cardio."
Color Coordinated
This guy is in his late 50s/early 60s and is shredded. Every day, he comes to the gym in a crop top, short shorts, long socks, and a sweatband. They all match, every time, and are often themed around any relevant holidays. If you ask him how he is, he'll say that he's "quite blessed".
Sweatshirt Dude
This early 20-something regular frequently wears a hoodie that says "I ❤ hot moms". He's chill, very polite, and I often hear him complaining about being single. I have no further commentary on this guy.
Itty Bitty
This regular approached the front desk one evening and said that he was looking for "that itty bitty white girl with the bright hair". Turns out he was struggling with an exercise and wanted my advice. He also said that he didn't know anyone my size could even be a personal trainer, but that I also clearly "know what's up". Since then, he will say hi by yelling "ITTY BITTY!" from across the gym.
The Florist
The first time I met this regular, he was coming into the gym with several boxes full of flower bouquets. He set them by the door along with a makeshift sign offering them to everyone. I later learned that he works for a local grocery store as a florist and was allowed to take the excess inventory that was going to be thrown away. One member took a few of the bouqets and unbundled them before wandering around the gym and giving random people flowers. Since then, he's also brought in boxes of radishes, croissants, and once an absolutely ridculous number of cabbages.
Hot Girl Shit
This girl is a college sophomore and as loud as she is friendly. Having a conversation with her feels like you're talking to that group of really supportive drunk girls in the club bathroom condensed in a single person. She frequently implores for my coworkers and I to wear these flared leggings with a crossed waistband. In her words, "They make your ass look great, that's some hot girl shit. And all of y'all are hot, so y'all should get them and then you'd be even more hot."
Side note- I recently purchased the leggings she was talking about and can confirm that they are indeed hot girl shit.
One day I’ll go back to my normal schedule.
One day I won’t be scheduled 6 hours and clock out with 10.
One day I won’t have to supervise and train and be four people at once.
One day I will have the energy to do basic household chores before passing out on the couch from exhaustion.
One day I’ll draw something other than small scribbles and doodles I don’t think are good enough to post online.
I’m just so tired.
