Cas has had a very long, very hard day. And when he comes home, Dean gives him everything he needs to feel whole again.

Castiel is framed beautifully by the dying light through the coloured glass. He glows, almost, the blues and greens making him into a holy sight. It's an altar Dean has worshipped at many times. And maybe to any onlookers, this scene would be beatific. Dean knows better. The lines of Castiel's shoulders are a touch too tight, strained against the shirt he hasn't changed out of. His posture is too perfect, each bend and curve of his limbs perfectly lines up like he's trying to earn something. His face is pulled into a near-perfect imitation of calm, the only giveaway is the tremble in his mouth and tension in his jaw.

But Dean already knew something wasn't right. He didn't need to walk in here to know what he'd see. Cas needs putting back together. And, God help him, Dean will always do that.

i did not think i was going to get anything out for this event, but thanks to the delightful work of @whoipretended2b, here it is! take it, take my soft angel and his dean being very very gay and surprisingly healthy about their emotions (and me, being far too interested in the details of the rope and bondage being accurate). anyway. enjoy! comments and kudos appreciated always.

to build off my last spn post, i need people to know that whether or not dean acts on it all the time, dean would KNOW he’s queer. like, dean is very self-aware, he would KNOW.

whether you think he’s open about it or not, or feels shame for it or not, or WHATEVER, it is clear that dean would be aware of this fact about himself.

i don't think that ftm cas exists because he is an angel, you know. but we can have ftm jimmy (did he give birth to claire?) so cas have that full transision body and never told anyone about that because he doesn't know that it's important. and when dean throws him on the bed, he climbs into his pants and just WHERE
