Tee Hee doodles of my Vampire AU :) I have started a fic for it (see here!) but we haven’t gotten to Phoenix there yet but a lot of this au is just about these two together soooo yay!

Phoenix is a trans man with a high hematocrit (red blood cell count) who needs to regularly donate blood in order to make sure his blood doesn’t start killing him, and Miles is the world’s pickiest eater who finds that Phoenix is his ideal donor. And they were medically mandated roommates. Idk, I love projecting my journey with testosterone onto Phoenix and throwing so much vampiric angst at Miles :3

Been thinking and trans man Phoenix Wright would actually fit nicely into the AA narrative, and more importantly it would make everything a lot funnier. It always felt slightly unbelievable to me that two parents would name their baby Phoenix, but it is ENTIRELY believable that a teenager realizing that he's trans would have given this name to himself to sound cool edgy and masculine. You could re-contextualize Edgeworth pretending not to know Phoenix/purposefully ignoring him in AA1 as genuine confusion because he for REAL does not recognize Phoenix at first and is a bit slow on the uptake. Like "Who the hell are you and why did you write me letters, I don't recognize you at all?!?! I just remember being friends with some weirdo little girl in school, and now that you mention it she DID keep her hair short like you and I think her last name was Wright and WAIT A MINUTE!!!" Edgeworth's rival-coded use of Nick's last name exclusively when referring to him is actually him just being really nervous about using the wrong name so he uses last name exclusively to cover his bases. It would even explain why Nick wore that horrible ugly stupid sweatshirt in college, because it never sat right with me that an art student would think that looked good (he was just wearing baggy clothing for dysphoria reasons).
