Hello! I'm Kool-Aid, or Jekyll, I'm an artist who loves making OCs and AUs of my biggest hyperfixaton, Ace Attorney.

English is not my first language, but I still love writing stories, and I work in some with my partner, who helps with and co-owns all of my Ace Attorney AUs.

I have a TikTok where I also post my art and sometimes remember to post speedpaints, and a shared AO3 account with my partner! I also have a Bluesky, but I usually forget it exists and it doesn't get much attention anyway. I don't really like current Twitter.

I have a bunch of original characters not tied to AA as well, and I'm both a human and furry artist, but my goal is mostly to share my fandom content!

One of my Ace Attorney OCs, Aslan Brightblaze

He was the second OC I made for this universe. He's a prosecutor, and a former fighter. He hadn't considered a career in law until the bar he worked at when he was 18 turned into a crime scene, and the defense attorney in the case tried to pin the murder on him. The prosecutor was able to get a guilty verdict, and Aslan was so grateful that he went to thank him, and with some encouragement (and financial help, as well) he started studying law and eventually became a prosecutor himself.

Aslan is pretty tall and muscular, and sometimes looks a bit intimidating, but in reality he's a pretty cool guy with a golden retriever personality... although he has a strange obsession with fire

Another Ace Attorney OC, Aspen Indeevar.

He comes from a very respected family of prosecutors, the Neelam. However, his mother married and had him with a man that her family didn't approve of, and after she and her husband passed away, Aspen was taken in by his aunt, Juno.

His mother didn't register him with her family's last name, and because of her "defiance", Aspen was made to work twice as hard as the other children in the family, and has to constantly prove himself, so one day he can be truly accepted into the family, as his aunt expects him to change his last name once she's satisfied enough with his progress.

Because of the way he was raised, Aspen is very sheltered, reclusive and perfectionist, and the fact he is also neurodivergent doesn't help in people's perspective of him, as he's a very literal and strict person.

He's paired with my boyfriend's OC, a defense attorney named Felix Mallory. Together, they are based on a peacock and a black cat, one a symbol of luck; the other, misfortune.

The Strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

So Jekyll and Hyde is one of my hyperfixations since like 2020, and back then I tried drawing them, but my art skills weren't all that good just yet. Anyway, I've been wanting to redraw them because ✨nostalgia✨ I also read The Glass Scientists after the actual book, so I wanted to try and make my designs different from those, 'cause back then I think it influenced me a bit too much in how I pictured them lol.

I also downloaded the MazM game cause I also like that Hyde (Jekyll not so much... sorry, I just think he looks a bit bland)

ANYWAY, I don't think I like this Jekyll much, especially compared to my old sketches that seemed to have more personality, the drawing itself is not my favorite either but unfortunately I can't fix it. Why, you may ask? Well, it's pretty ironic.

...I accidentally saved Hyde's file over him. I would be mad if it wasn't funny as hell. So yeah, sorry, Jekyll, I'll try to remake you. Someday.

Unfortunately I only found one sketch of the old one I drew from a comic that I was trying really hard to find from when he first meets Hyde.

Oh well, anyway I wasn't super sure of what to do with him but like... Why is he fine tho 😳

Yeah he was plain, it's Utterson, duh. But I do remember he was supposed to be white. Get the melanin beam bish

Oh! So recently I picked up a concept I thought of like... 8 years ago or so, of a dating sim where the characters are based on bugs. I redesigned some of them and created others, these aren't even all of them just yet, but it's been pretty fun

In order, we have Quincy (honey bee), Ahmed (aedes aegypti mosquito), Lyan (ladybug), Lexi (monarch butterfly), Sheldon (garden snail), Sylvia (silverfish), Richard (american cockroach) and Drea (blue dasher dragonfly).

Also back when I was like 14 making the original versions, everyone was so white and skinny and all men 💔 cause it was a BL game idea, so today I'm making some of those characters female or nonbinary and not white lmao

This is not exactly an AU version but it IS a character based on Sholmes, who's also based on someone but shhh lol I was mostly thinking of Sholmes

Well, meet Basil Shamrock! Also a rather eccentric and hyperactive detective that's sometimes a bit hard to understand

I am absolutely in love with him, wasn't sure about the design at first but I arrived in something I really really liked
