look i know we all have a lot going on, but if you live in texas (or can send this to someone who does) take ⚡3 minutes⚡ right now to right to your representatives (dont worry its all automatic) about the "anti drag bill".
Because truthfully, while it should be enough that will take the human rights away of queer trans folks - it will actually also be used to affect EVERYONE. No more "crossdressing" and by crossdressing we mean whatever the cop nearest you decides is crossdressing that day. That includes crossplay (crossdressing cosplay). And it includes any outfit not manly or feminine enough for the gender someone assumes of you when they call law enforcement.... And this WILL include other forms of art/ free expression down the line...
YOU are a target, whether you are trans or cis - whether you thought SB12 was a good idea or not. It will affect you.

There’s a hearing today at the state capitol regarding SB6, the proposed anti-trans bathroom bill here in Texas. Trans Texans (and allies) need to stand together, your stance on these matters and the decisions put into place will be in our history books one day.

Texas lawmakers are trying to pass bill SB6 that discriminates against transgender individuals using the bathroom they identify with. This bill is disguised as one protecting privacy rather than just another stab at trans rights. Last month I got the amazing opportunity to step out of my comfort zone by acting in a PSA in opposition to this bill. I was joined by a dozen or so other talented individuals as we took a stand for trans Texans. Being that I'm the T in LGBT, of course #IPEEWITHLGBT.
