hmm I definitely appreciate the idea of yurio being transboy, but is there any in show evidence (other than JJ saying ladies first to him cos that can just be seen as him calling out his femininity while he is still cis)? Plus yurio had a bath with viktor and yuuri. Just wanna know your thoughts to see if I start believing it myself!! It would be amazing if he is

Of course this is just my personal theory because the show doesn’t give any concrete evidence.
JJ calling him ‘ladies'first is as macho esque teasing towards Yurio, which may also be a mocking towards Yurio’s feminine appearance but does not necessarily indicate that Yurio is trans.Yurio is aggressive in nature, but he has shown a vulnerable and soft side of him, he does show the binary gender aspects in him, but being trans means that he has the inclination towards highlighting the feminine aspects of himself. However through his clothing his way of showing the appearance of someone who is tough and baddass but this really feels like a just a cover-up.
Somehow Yurio strikes me to be a very defensive person, even when Viktor suggests eros and agape, immediately Yurio went for Eros because he thought that agape was lame. In turn he ended up doing the agape routine and it did fit him nicely. His outfit and his movements show elegance and grace. In fact Lilia has commented about him as a being a ‘prima ballerina’ and someone who shows beauty through strength ( and then there was the shot of Yurio practicing as he lifted his leg up ballerina style which emphasises the idea of beauty and grace). So you can argue that despite the way he outwardly portrays himself, he may also have an inner feminine spirit that he’s afraid to expose or that he is not entirely aware of. Although the show does not suggest in any way how he perceives himself, and therefore we can only argue about Yurio being trans-gender, I think there is an unexplored territory in which you can experiment with a trans-gender Yurio. Honestly I think it would be very interesting.
