we are cisplural, however we struggle with amnesia (lack thereof actually) i figured someone from the transid community could have tips on how to form amnesia barriers, at least enough to keep our frontings private/keep from host spectating us and vice versa. if you have any tips about this in particular please share them, thank you

My biggest tip on this is mainly just to kinda pretend to have it if ya get what I mean? Like, act like you don't remember things other alters did, and ignore any memories from when they were fronting, yknow?

Can I get some transanxiety and transamnesia tips please?

yes!! im severiamnesia (for plural reasons :3) and cisanxiety!!

anxiety:

1. pay attention to everything around you, always have at least one thing to think about and let your thoughts spin about it

2. keep your head overloaded, such as watching a video while listening to music, or having a lot of tabs open on your devices :P

3. fidget and be restless, let your leg bounce and fingers tap against your thigh or a desk. if other people notice this then they’ll most likely think youre anxious :3

amnesia:

1. try to avoid looking at clocks or calendars or really anything that could help remind you of the time or things of that sort

2. if you avoid documenting experiences as much as you can, then they’ll most likely fade from your memory faster

3. if youre having trouble forgetting things, then convince your brain that they either didnt happen, or create a different version to replace the “real memory” in your head

4. do things disorienting, like listening to music you dont listen to usually, or waking up at different times every day :3

5. sleep deprivation can also disrupt memory production, so if you can, maybe pull a few all nighters to feel too fatigued to remember things? (please do this safely!! make sure to get your rest, your body needs it <3 /p)
