#transcend coffee

Hello Friends ! Back at it again with another vlog, In actual fact.. I totally forgot that I had vlogged a bit a few Saturday's back... And now that my computer is screaming at me telling me the hard drive is almost full... I am starting to go everything with my fine tooth comb.  Needless to say, I am sharing this post with y'all !   If you are new around these parts, you know I am always up for a new Edmonton Coffee shop to  check out ! And although there are quite the array of cute Edmonton Cafe's to choose from these days, I absolutely had to check out this new one - the concept is SO cool and creative, especially as it's in the middle of a local neighbourhood, and there is more than one business inside ( i am not going to go to in depth into things, as I am going to make you watch the YouTube video above to see what I am talking about ).  I can't call myself a coffee connoisseur just yet, but I do know that Transcend is right up there with the Best Coffee In Edmonton.  Do you have any other recommendations for me for coffee shops in Edmonton ? Do you think I've missed any Edmonton Coffee Shops here on the blog that I just have to check out ? Leave me a comment, and Ill be sure to check it out !

I didn't do much this week since I was sick early in the week. But Friday was wonderful! I was able to hang out with my best friend, Eryn, and we spent the night after work doing local things! First we walked from the U of A area and stopped at the Sugar Bowl for their famous chicken and waffles which were heavenly. I've never been there so it was wonderful to sit and eat good local food. I can't wait to go again to try their desserts! Then since we had plenty of time before our next event, we stopped at Transcend Coffee for a cup of tea and a quick game of "Adventure Time: Love Letter". It's another local place and it was amazing. I will never go to Starbucks or Tim Hortons again. This place was just amazing. Low music, classy decor and wonderful staff. I loved that we could sit and play small board games. I hope to go again! Our adventure ended with the film "Hail, Caesar!" at the Metro Cinema at the Garneau Theatre. I've only been here once before to see my friend's film on dead music venues. I love the old decor inside, the movie posters by local artists and the staff (were so wonderful). The popcorn was so amazing, I wish I had an endless supply! It's good to know I can enjoy things and still support local places. Its important to support your local economy! I also discovered what an old lady I am. I got home at 10pm and was exhausted.

Day 73: Cold brew coffee from Transcend Coffee. Love this stuff! So good that I forgot to take a photo from today's cup so had to use an old one :p
