Tiersa and I are currently working on having a Vision of where we want to go in life and with our kids. We have never really worked on this together. We want to of course be the best parents we can be to our kids always but sometimes day to day things get in the way. We are focusing on having at least one meal a day with them together as a family and discussing the most important things we can with them like the scriptures and the day to day things going on in their lives. We have been super busy through the holidays and not doing as well with it the last few weeks. Happy New Year! We had a great time getting out for a hike at San Tan today with the family. Looking forward to a great 2016! Here is a quote/thought I found this week that I really like. We had a great time running the Gilbert 13.1 mile Half Marathon today! We had 6 runners from our gym complete this race. This was Bekah Flake and Billy Coover's first time running this distance and they did great! We trained for this race mainly with CrossFit workouts, a track day and a long run day. Bekah decided to enter this race yesterday! Less than 3 weeks until @sealfit Kokoro Camp. We put @carmy411 through a 2 mile run with grinderpt then a variation of Sand Baby Murph. With a 40 pound sandbag that you are never allowed to put down It involved a 800 meter run, 100 push press, 200 Lunges with the sandbag in the chest carry position, 150 SitUps, 150 Squats then a 800 meter run. It was a grinder workout. Marcus did great and never set the bag down! He was grateful @tiersa23 could spray him with the hose:) We are excited for Marcus and Tommy going to Kokoro! #crossfitpreferred #transcenddaily #sealfit #opwod #lesueurcarco (at Crossfit Preferred!!)
