We actually have a G1 reference in this scene: the rhyme is actually from the G1 episode Cosmic Rust, from Season 2. The Decepticons go to Antilla (which is also in the comic), and activate an old communication device. A hologram of a rusted bot appears, and says this rhyme word for word. Question is, why is a Prime that looks suspiciously like TFPrime Predacon quoting it? Biological attack from the disease by the name Cosmic Rust? Or something more sinister...
Oh, let’s face it. It’s something more sinister.
