ALSO, I just want to point out that Optimus' death was not his fault. I love Optimus, but during his and Megatron's fight in the G1 movie, Optimus was yapping when he had the chance to shoot Megatron.

Because of his yapping, Megatron had the chance to grab his blaster, and was about to shoot Op when Hotrod intervened.

I'm just saying that Optimus would have died whether Hotrod intervened or not
