Transitional epithelium surrounded by adipose, dense irregular connective tissue and some blood vessels.
Transitional Epithelium
Structure: they appear as stratified cells that seem cuboidal when the organ or tube is not stretched and squamous when the organ or tube is stretched.
Function: They accommodate fluctuations in the volume of fluid in an organ or a tube.
Location: It can be found along the linings of the urinary bladder.
