The party ended up being a good time and all of the guests went home pretty satisfied.
No food in the fridge, no grocery store in the 'hood and a potentially pregnant wife at home?
At barely 7AM, before anybody else in the household was even awake, Travis headed to the park to grab some fresh berries.
Desperate times... am I right?
I'm sure one of these days the family will be able to sit down together and eat a meal... but today was not that day.
"Thanks so much for inviting us. It's been a long time since we've had a party like this... These days Matt and I are just working and taking care of the kids," Scarlett told Erin as they snacked and watched TV together.
Erin couldn't help but laugh a little. "Yeah, I know that feeling."
Everyone else seemed to be having a great time too. There was plenty of chit chat, plenty of joking around, and even some shameless swooning.
I find it so adorable how Matt still crushes hard on his fiancée! Even in a crowded room, he only has eyes for her.
The fire seemed to come out of nowhere! First there was a flash of light and then suddenly his only bookshelf was going up in flames!
"OH LLAMAPOOP! NO! Not this again! I hate fire!" Travis shouted.
Everyone else was also freaking out, but it was all for nothing. The fire fizzled out almost immediately because of the rain.
"Phew," Travis sighed. "It's okay guys! No need to lose any stars over this!"
Besides, this was the third fire in the 'hood. They now had a spot open in the firefighter career and they could use fire alarms!
It was a blessing in disguise!
Oh noooo...
I was barely even loaded into their household when Travis and Daisy decided to automatically woohoo. It might've even been try for baby, I didn't think to check the interaction.
We do not have the space for another baby or the simoleons to expand the house! Plus I really wanted to work on building up the new library!
I really hope Daisy didn't just get knocked up.
Another day at the library hoping to make enough simoleons to do... something.
Maybe it was the good woohoo he had that morning, but Travis had a really good day at work.
He made more simoleons than usual and even managed to (finally) rank up to Level 1!
After struggling so much financially, his choice of reward was quite an obvious one. He could make 1,000 simoleons go a very long way!
