mott x trea headcanons

neither of them are the elaborate / showy type, but throughout the years they’ve been quietly and deeply devoted to each other

the always remember birthdays and anniversaries and make a bouquet with each of their favorite types of flowers. (mott has a favorite flower and i stand by this)

mott isn’t really a music person, but trea adores music. therefore you’ll see them listening to music together

sometimes when the rest of the ascendance crew is busy, they’ll take nila and fink to the pond to play and feed the ducks

i headcanon there being ducks at drylliad and around the castle area for no reason other than that i think they’re nice :)

they’re really good at comforting each other when the other is stressed

trea has a special tea she makes whenever mott is stressed or upset

since darius is very close to trea, he sees mott as an uncle figure and buys gifts for the two of them + visits them sometimes

the two take walks in the evening if the weather is nice, and once they get home and the sun has set, they stargaze together outside their house and talk about their day or just enjoy each other’s company

when mott and trea separated years ago, they thought for sure they would never see each other again, so they treat every day they spend together as a blessing <3

Wanting to write a TAS Gift Festival fic taking place post series focusing on Jaron-Darius bond and their tradition of lighting candles for each other when they were apart.

It might be kind of based on the Frozen Christmas episode Olaf's Frozen adventure. Mostly because in that episode Elsa and Anna, despite being separated by locked doors, celebrated Christmas by exchanging Olaf themed gifts which feels similar to how Darius and Jaron celebrated Gift Festival every year when Jaron was in the orphanage and Darius was in the castle. 😭

Actually in that case it might become Fink's adventures though I intend to write it from Jaron’s pov so we won't see it but Fink will be the mvp I guess even if it's focusing on Darius-Jaron siblings bond. Wdym Fink won't go out on an adventure to look for traditions for his brothers? I love the three siblings. 💙

Want to make the three siblings ring the bell like Elsa and Anna. And want to add a headcanon of Jaron doing this with his family in the past before TFP.

The idea is vague so I might write it later for Christmas. There is plenty of time to think of it.

Also thinking to have Mott and Trea in it though I need to guess what everyone else's tradition for Gift Festival might be. I am sure for Amarinda and Tobias it is giving each other poems and sketches. (Tobias makes poems and Amarinda makes sketches. 💜)

New NNPP Script Posted: Specimen

SPECIMEN is a dryad piece set in the garden maze surrounding Wavecrest Manor. The listener encounters a dryad constructed creature built from extracted patterns. She's engineered to tend the garden and manage its inhabitants - including you. She's been growing toward you the whole time.

The piece moves through ecological justice as seduction. Her controlling persona was designed. What it became was not.

(Consent mechanics are woven into the premise at a structural level, not just as a disclaimer.)

Part of ongoing NNPP dryad lore. Dark in places, warm in others, with a closer that implies the listener has been here many times before.
