Some kind of energy barrier that surrounds your home or connected to you/smth in the house? He tried to interact with it/walked into it without knowing and got damaged? I dont think he would've run into it desperately trying to break it down physycally and his powers are no use as of now. Plus he might be a bit desperate if he got to you from Theraprism/right after death(?) but i dont think he'd keep on doing something that was noticeably hurting him. Though, this one is questionable 😔 (he might be prone to selfharm but im not sure)
