Silently awaits the "TW YOU'RE GIVING ME ANXIETY" posts over Tumblr's voter registration campaign.
I don't want this to come off the wrong way like this is 100% sincere it's not bragging or anything but I am extremely grateful that I don't know what the extension that hides tumblr posts based on tags looks like or how it functions and I wanna try my best to make sure that the people who know it really well for whatever reason are having good lives, both in terms of trying not to post stuff on here that will take them by surprise via not tagging shit that could be upsetting but also trying to make all that awful shit that's out there in the world not be out there in the world

I hate how trigger warnings have moved from something genuine to just an easy excuse to get people to stop talking about things you don't like. If that's how it's gonna be then my triggers include eggs, Mondays, grape soda, sonic the hedgehog, deadlines, ignorance, Steven moffat, incest shipping, gas prices, oil spills, people who claim climate change is fake, slacktivism, whale hunting, anti-gay anything, the sound Styrofoam makes when you rub it together, stupid customers, the westboro babtist church, people who use mental illnesses as a verb, video game lag, apple products, stained carpets, bills, interest groups that think everything they do is newsworthy, sources that won't call you back, "This ten-page paper is due Monday," the color orange, the fact that nothing rhymes with orange, Pi, dreaming about school then waking up and having to go to school, people who cut in line, traffic, when parents throw a tantrum and their kid watches like really, "my next available appointment is 8 a.m.," falling UP the stairs, wanting a cat but you can't get a cat because the cat you have would freak, internet friends who live a billion miles away, getting judged for using a straw as a spoon to eat the whipped cream off your coffee, waiting in line, shady landlords, getting hit with the ball in any sport ever, furbies, and advertisements. So if any of this isn't tagged, I will lose my mind and report you. OR, I could realize I am a god damn adult, sharing this website with millions of other god damn adults, and not all of them are going to say things I like 100 percent of the time. We can tag graphic things like rape, abuse and gore, but it is not our jobs to filter every bit of our content to fit YOUR individual needs. If you can't look at a picture of everyday things without freaking the fuck out, then the internet is not for you. Have a nice day.
I can't tell if the Social Justice Warrior tumblrsphere is real or an elaborate FYAD-style trolling game.
I seriously saw a vegan put a trigger warning a picture of chicken wings.
