Sewing progress from March...I will try to describe this in more detailed posts later, since I have like 250 photos from March alone (and like 200gb of footage but that is another story).

Originally started in October but didn't make much progress until this month, was busy with other things.

Still haven't made as much progress as I'd like, but I do like how it is coming along! Many fun textures.

Before and after trimming up the blackberries before berry production really kicks off. A lot of buds are forming and the first few are opening.

So it was time to trim! I've worked out over the years that taking the leaves off of the bottom 2/2.5 feet of the bushes helps improve airflow to reduce fungus/blight. And it also helps predatory bugs and birds get better access to pest bugs on the plants.

It also makes stepping around and behind the plant easier, which makes harvesting easier!
