MINSEOK HAD ALREADY agreed so it wasn’t as if he could go back on his words. he gives the girl a nod and a slight smile, trying to ignore the nerves that were bubbling up from the sheer idea of doing this. “that’s a definite yes.” he repeas her question affirmatively, having a laundry list of his own questions starting to roll through his brain. “ so … um … what happens next? ” he asks, not sure what the next step they had to take was. “ like, do we rehearse or are we supposed to wing it? ”

          sweet, she thought as she heard his final confirmation. her plan was working and she wasn’t surprised, she knew that she was brilliant when it came to coming up with a strategy to get what she wanted. and she wanted to be around him. “ we definitely have to rehearse ! “ she said in an overly excited tone. “ i know you speak in front of many students, but the mic can be quite intimidating if it’s your first time on radio, so... we’re gonna have like a script to follow to make it easier and then maybe we’ll answer fan-sent questions if you want. there’s many things we can do. “ and so minyoung had begun to ramble yet again, but she caught herself before it being too much for him to handle. “ we can go somewhere now and talk more if you’d like. “

maybe he’s had one drink too many, or maybe he’s already out of his mind, unable to keep his thoughts from wandering to unholy places, because jaewon finds himself leaning closer and closer to the man who is supposed to be his best friend — nothing more, nothing less. slowly, he places a hand just above his knee, long lashes fluttering ever so slightly as his hooded gaze meets the other’s eyes, looking for something, anything, a sign to keep going. it’s a dangerous game, one that could easily end up being nothing but a disaster, and he knows that all too well, yet he’s too intoxicated to care, too tired of pretending that he isn’t aware of the tension between them. “ do you... wanna try something? ”  //  @trivialves ♡

   As agreed a week ago, it was time for them to put her suit theory to test and drink to her success. Granted, they were undoubtedly attracted to one another this was a thankful gesture on Jude’s part. He’s a man acquainting himself with luxury but he’ll grow into this lifestyle with time. The meet up was a bar apart of some contemporary hotel with interesting architecture. Well, it actually had a few bars, the one he wanted to impress her with was the rooftop bar, it had a large balcony and it was spacious but had intimate decor to aid the illusion. Not as many people came up to this one, because they believed they had to be guests of the hotel to make it up that high. He didn’t care to inform them on this fine encroaching evening, with the warm reflective fire glass pit burning in the far corner of the bar and the view of the city lights setting the mood on top of the jazz singer setting the tone. Jude looked good, hats off to Dakota, but the longer he waited at the bar the more he began to overthink him coming alone. Maybe he should’ve picked her up, if she drove then she’ll have to watch how much she drinks, he could always drive her home in her car. It’s a courteous intention but upon further analyzation, it seems a bit overbearing. He already sensed the subtle eyes of others on him but none of them were who he was waiting for. Venturing back inside from the balcony he smells her before she arrives and then all at once her presence knocks the wind out of him. Swallowing thickly, he stands there unable to anything but her looking devastatingly gorgeous in that dress. He opts to say nothing as he saunters cooly to meet her and then he’s taking her hand in his and guiding her to a candle-lit table by the singer and signaling for a waitress. “If someone were to be an idiot to say no to me what would that make me not have anticipated all of this?” ( @trivialves )

the days that passed after he left gen’s place weren’t the easiest, he started thinking too much of the situation, questioning everything in his life. his relationship with sooyoung was getting strained because of the lack of sleep that came with his overthinking, he started getting annoyed at every little thing she did. he took out his annoyance of the whole situation at her, which definitely wasn’t fair at all. it wasn’t her fault that he started to come to the realization that he was in fact in love with gen too & it was only after spending so much time apart from her that he started to realize how much she meant to him. him knowing that she was hurting because of him, made his fucking heart break in two. so he went after his heart, he broke up with sooyoung & here he was, sprinting towards her apartment ━ not caring about the pouring rain that was leaving him completely soaked by the time he reaches her door & knocks. he just needed to let her know, he needed to hug her, kiss her ━ let her know that he was a fucking idiot. / @trivialves

“jesus, what are you doing here?” the question wasn’t worth asking at this point. she should have expected this and it shouldn’t have been a big deal. except it was. normal break ups were usually resolved by not having to see the other person. the occassional run in was to be expected, but not when it was in your own house or when your ex was clad in nothing but a towel. but alas, her older brother was best friends with griffin. break up or not, she didn’t expect them to stop hanging out. nor was there a justifiable reason for them to. teagan had been the one who’d broken up with griffin. convinced that she couldn’t make time for a relationship, that the only way to satisfy her father’s wishes was to let go of what felt like an impossible love. 

and in many ways it was, but only because teagan made it so. she’d used just about any excuse to break up with griffin even though he’d been nothing but good to her, even if deep down she still loved him. that part had only recently become more apparent, teagan finding the thought of him inescapable. “just —” she blushes, turning her head away in sheer embarasssment. “do you have to do this three times a week?” she inquires, slightly annoyed with him. a part of her wondered whether he’d been doing this on purpose. “you’re always naked and it...” it wasn’t fair. only she couldn’t bring herself to tell him that.

perhaps his life would be so much easier if he could just relax and stop overthinking, but you see, hyunjin’s wide variety of completely useless and unnecessary talents just so happens to include making everything a lot more complicated than it needs to be. everyone can see that he’s in love with genevive, and genevive is in love with him — all he has to do is ask her out. it’s as simple as that, really. yet he keeps stalling, too scared to make the first move, afraid that she might not be ready to accept him as her boyfriend, even though he’s already waited long enough, and quite frankly, he’s slowly starting to lose his patience, unable to keep his hands off her, constantly on the verge of saying ‘fuck it’ and just kissing her senseless.

but genevive deserves so much than a half-assed confession. ( technically, he’s already confessed to her, but he’d rather not talk about that — not after he’d cried like a baby and made a fool out of himself in front of her. )

besides, he’s already got everything planned out — and by everything, he means a gorgeous silver bracelet that he’s been carrying around in his pocket for a few weeks now, as well as a sappy speech about how much he loves her and how stupid he’s been. all he needs to do is pop the big question.

they’ve been lounging around in bed all evening, supposedly watching some movie that neither of them really seems to care about, because they’re too busy cuddling and being disgustingly in love. his arms are wrapped around her waist as he holds her close, right between his legs, his back propped up against the headboard and his chin resting on top of her shoulder. “ gen? ” he mumbles, squeezing her waist a little tighter and taking a deep breath. “ there’s something i need to ask you. ”

it’s thrilling, this little push & pull game of theirs. it makes the greedy, possessive demon lurking inside him seethe with anger, yet maybe that’s why he’s so drawn to ana. she knows just how to push his buttons, constantly playing hard to get and making him jealous just to rile him up, even though she always ends up in his bed, sooner or later, moaning his name until they’re both spent and sated — toxic and unhealthy, just the way he likes it. he’s by no means a stranger to her mind games, but he always plays along, letting his gaze wander over her figure in the dim lights of the club, yet not approaching her until the fucker she’s dancing with leans in too close for his liking. that’s when he makes his move, shoving his way through the crowd and slipping an arm around her waist to pull her flush against his body, a satisfied smirk tugging at one corner of his lips once the guy finally gets the hint to fuck off, grumbling as he leaves. “ havin’ fun without me, babe? ”
