Icy Disenchantix Redesign: Click for better quality.

Based on this mood board: Because the Trix deserved a better transformation for season 3. It kind of makes senece, because the Winx would be the butterflies, and the Trix would be the spiders.

Transformation Qualities:

One's eyes become monochromatic, and the witch gets a diadem that sort of looks like spider eyes. And a lot of jewelry has the same design.

Monochrome colors and a lot of gradients.

How One Gains It:

I really want to make the Trix achieve it by killing Valtor and using his body in a ritual. OR, witches would have to harm/kill somebody from their planet.

Maybe Disenchantix was the transformation the Ancestral Witches got, because gaining it would be dark. The Ancestors (if they would appear in season 3) or Valtor controlled by them, or just simply Valtor, would tell the Trix to gain this transformation. It would make more sense for the order to be from the Ancestors because the Trix are indeed afraid of them at this point.

Either the Ancestors in season 3, OR in Magical Adventure. I can picture the Trix cursing the Tree of Life after gaining Disenchantix, and all of them still mourning what they've done. (Darcy holding a hand over her mouth to bury her sobs, or else Liliss sees).

Icy would have to go back to Diamond to kill the last surviving person there: Sapphire. She doesn't want to, but Belladonna orders and threatens Icy to do so. Icy still has the attitude of, "Oh great Ancestor, I will do what you ask." But it's very painful for her to kill Sapphire, and she's becoming less of a dedicated devotee to Belladonna after this.

Darcy is like, "No, no, no, no," when Liliss orders her to kill someone from Zenothe to gain Disenchantix. Yes, everyone on her planet is in a coma when Darcy accidentally released her magic as a child, so it would be easy. But Darcy DOES not want any part in this, and even resorts to begging Liliss to convince her.

(This scars Darcy for life lol).

(Like, she can't stop crying).

Stormy just goes to kill her father, tbh. She doesn't want to kill, but she and Tharma have a half-decent mentor relationship. Tharma doesn't give a fuck as long as Stormy listens to them. Stormy feels guilty after that fact, and that cripples her emotionally.

But finally, with this transformation, The Trix can clock the Winx <3

(Though gaining this transformation AND getting possessed by the Ancestors, they'd be wrecked)

Winx Club: Icy redesign

So I tried to give winx reboot a chance… and by a chance I mean 2 episodes. And surprise surprise I hated it. It’s not even all the changes I hate but the fact that they took away so much of the depth of the story telling TT^TT and the animation looks as stiff as the sims.

SO as someone who grew up with the show I wanted to do a few redesigns myself. Cause if we really want a more “gritty”, adult winx club (not looking at Fate, I refuse too.) why not add some things yourself?

SO my goal is to add diversity, depth, and maybe a little more interesting character design :)

Ideas so far for the Trix

STORMY: a black woman, DUH. But also need to figure out more character depth for her cause even in show she doesn’t get a lot… Also I think “Gravity” from the new Hazbin Hotel season 2 would be PERFECT for her

DARCY: TOXIC lesbian with the classic hippy, trippy, witchy vibe. Which would also make sense for when she manipulated Riven and spelled him to fall for her.

ICY: I have the most so far. I wanted to really make her more intimidating and scary, With her white hair in the show I thought it’d be cool for her to have albinism and to lean even more heavily into the ice witch look. So she has patches of skin always covered in ice crystals and looks like they’re frost bitten. With the albinism I think she eventually had a lot of problems with her eyes, so she has very low vision and a sensitivity to light, can only really see general, blurry shapes and everything tends to be very dim. WHICH brings her up close and personal for her combat style, while still far from perfect she’s able to see better up close. She also has a walking cane of ice that turns into various weapons when needed in combat…..

… Also she’s like 6 ft tall and always wears heels, so she tends to cap out at 6’4/6’5 daily.
