Overprotective Celebrimbor, kiss and make up type shit.
No warnings
The council chamber was filled with the low murmur of voices as Celebrimbor and his advisors gathered around a sturdy oak table, maps and reports scattered before them. The air was thick with tension as they discussed the recent sightings of mountain trolls near the foothills of Eregion. Celebrimbor, his brow furrowed, traced the outline of the affected area on the map with his finger.
“We need to send a scout group to investigate these sightings,” one advisor suggested, his voice steady. “If the trolls are indeed moving closer, we must assess the threat before it escalates.”
“Agreed,” Celebrimbor replied, glancing around the table. “But we must choose our scouts wisely. This is not a journey to be taken lightly.”
As the discussion continued, you entered the room, your presence commanding immediate attention. You had been listening from the doorway, your heart racing at the thought of the potential threat. The meeting paused as you stepped forward.
“Celebrimbor,” you began, drawing the eyes of everyone in the room. “I want to go with the scouts.”
A hush fell over the chamber, and Celebrimbor’s expression shifted from surprise to concern. “Darling, this is not a matter for you to decide,” he said firmly, a trace of shock in his voice. “It’s too dangerous.”
“But I can help!” you insisted, your frustration building. “I’m capable! Have you forgotten my contributions in the first age? I fought along side Fingolfin and slayed many of Morgoth's beasts. I am not to be overlooked just because I carry the title of Lady of Eregeion."
The tension in the room thickened, the advisors exchanging glances as Celebrimbor struggled to maintain his composure. Finally he spoke, "Can we have the room please?" he said firmly. His advisors got up from their chairs and filed past you into the hall. When the last one had stepped out you shut the heavy wooden door behind them.
Celebrimbor leaned forward over the oak table, his gaze steady. “You have responsibilities here, my light. If we send a scout group, it will be dangerous. I am not dismissing your achievements of the first age, but those battles are long behind us. You need not put yourself in danger. "
"I understand that," you shot back, your voice loud and firm. "But I want to be out there, I want to be of real use to our people!"
“Real Use?” Celebrimbor echoed, raising an eyebrow. “You are the Lady of Eregion. Your role is vital to our people.”
You scoffed at his statement. "Oh yes, because managing our household and hosting dinners for dignitaries is so vital to Eregion's survival." You rolled your eyes.
"Is that what you think of your role?" He said in disbelief. "You see yourself only as a party planner and laundry washer?"
"Not entirely, but let's be honest - If you had no Lady at your side, Eregion would not collapse into ruin."
"Eregion would not, but I would." He said, his voice catching in his throat. "If something happened to you, I would never recover. Ever."
His words made your heart sink.
"I know you are worried, but I can take care of myself." You pleaded.
Celebrimbor sighed, running a hand through his golden hair. “I understand your desire to do something other than your normal duties, but I cannot allow you to take this risk. Eregion has known peace for too long, and I cannot help but fear what lurks in the shadows. I am sorry, but my answer is no.”
You crossed your arms defiantly. “You can’t forbid me from doing this. I’m not a child to be protected from every danger. I can handle myself. I do not need your permission!"
"You're right, you are not a child, but you are my wife, and as your husband it is my job to ensure your safety. You will not be going with the scout group. That is my final answer." He said plainly.
"I do not need your permission. I am going." You turned to leave but before you could, Celebrimbor shouted at you to stop.
"Do not take another step!" He yelled, much louder than he had ever spoken to you.
He could tell by the look on your face he had startled you with his command.
"Please." He added in a barely audible whisper. "Please stay."
You shot him a severe look. Celebrimbor walked around the table and stood in front of you.
"I'm sorry for raising my voice. But I can't stand the thought of you going mountain troll hunting." He reached out and grabbed your waist, pulling you closer to him.
"Don't be dramatic, beloved. It's not mountain troll hunting, its just a reconnaissance mission." you said with a small smile. Your expression softened, but annoyance still flickered in your eyes. “I appreciate your concern, but I need to be more than just a figurehead. I want to stand beside you, not behind you.”
Celebrimbor looked into your eyes, seeing the fierce determination that mirrored his own. “I cannot give you my blessing to go” he said finally, “but you're right, I cannot stop you either.”
You let out a frustrated sigh. "I just want to be more than my title. I feel as if I am becoming too soft, too comfortable."
"That was the whole point." he said brightly, smiling. "I made you Lady of Eregion so you could become soft and comfortable. I was desperate for you to be safe after everything we experienced in the first age. I built this city for us, to finally find shelter from the dangers and darkness that has pursued our people since we left Valinor." He cupped your face in his hands and kissed you softly.
You leaned into his kiss, your hands finding their way to his hair. You stood in the council chamber lost in one another for several moments when a sharp knock at the door tore your attention back to the reality at hand.
Celebrimbor took his position back behind the table and motioned for you to open the door.
"I'm sorry, My Lord but we must make haste if we wish to track down these trolls." One of his advisors said as they all came flooding back into the chamber.
"Yes, yes of course." Celebrimbor said waving them in and gesturing for them to retake their seats around the table.
"We should send a small company, no more than 4. This will ensure they can make their way swiftly and quietly through the mountains."
Celebrimbor nodded and looked over to you, still standing near the door.
"My Lady, do you wish to join the company?" He asked you, trying not to show any emotion.
You hesitated before answering. "I do not." you said finally. " I have much to attend to here. I am confident we have plenty of guards who are more than capable." You said with a smile.
Celebrimbor's relief at you answer was evident. His shoulders relaxed and he couldn't help but smile widely. "Right, well in that case let's gather our best guards and go from there."
"I'll assemble them right away." His chief advisor said.
"It seems you have this under control. I'll leave you to it." You said winking at Celebrimbor. You took a small bow and left the chamber.
My friend @serailovesbagelsetc gifted me with a beautiful Elrondriel art for my Elrond x Galadriel fic This Could be a Dream, and I couldn't feel more honoured and proud!
It's an illustration of a scene in my fic where Elrond heals Galadriel's wound <3
“Let me walk you to your tent and examine this wound.”
Galadriel nodded, even though the pain seemed to have gone away, for now. She looked smaller and very tired, as if she hadn't slept a wink for the last hundred years. The Galadriel he knew would have waved away his concerns and pretended to be fine. She would have taken a sword and started training to focus on something she liked; she was just that strong. Seeing this force of nature so weakened and reliant on him wrung Elrond’s heart. He wished Sauron stood in front of him so he could make him pay for what he did.
Elrond gently asked Galadriel to lie on her bed and to show her the wound. He refused to let the sight of her barely covered breast distract him, entirely focused on the task at hand. The injury was the same as he had seen it the last time, clean and healed, in appearance. It didn’t surprise him, as it was obvious that the problem was much deeper, screeching under the surface. He murmured words of comfort that made her smile and invited her to close her eyes and relax. An amused laugh came out of her throat.
“Close my eyes, I can do that. Loosen up, though… Elrond, it’s me!”
Elrond’s only answer was a thin smile tugging at his lips. Her spirit was as sharp as ever, and
her wit was intact. He let his hand hover over the wound and, his eyes shut, murmured words of prayer to let the light flow through him. The sound of Nenya chiming told him Galadriel's ring was rejoicing with him in his attempt to cast the darkness away from Galadriel's soul, desiring as much as he did to save her bearer from the grip that Sauron still had on her. Elrond had inherited healing skills from his foremother Melian, but neither he nor Gil Galad would have been able to stop Galadriel’s soul from being ensnared in the Shadow realm without the intervention of Nenya. And today, again, she would help him to push Sauron away.
Elron stared at Nenya, who was now shining with a particular intensity, then his eyes softened as they lay on Galadriel’s face. She was now so calm she seemed asleep, though Elrond could feel through that she was very much awake, unable to ever calm the tempest in her. But at least, she was no longer battling… For now.
“Thank you, Elrond,” Galadriel murmured as she put her hand on his. Why was her skin so soft against his? “What would I do without you, mellon ?” Elrond let out a brief laugh to hide his ache. Of course, she called him 'friend'... How could he hope for anything else?

Golden leaves drift lazily past your feet as a crisp afternoon breeze sweeps through the open corridors of the palace. You walk with measured steps, the ornate tray in your hands delicately balanced. Carrying a porcelain teapot decorated with intricate golden laurels, two small matching cups, and a plate of twice-baked biscuits, you make your way to the High King’s private study.
Upon entering, you find Gil-galad sitting at his desk, brow furrowed in concentration. His quill scratches against the loose parchment with precise, controlled strokes. The dappled golden light cast a warm glow over the neatly arranged documents detailing upcoming meetings, political concerns, trade agreements, and Ilúvatar only knew what else. His lips press into a thin line, his focus absolute, oblivious to anything beyond the ink drying beneath his hand.
The scent of jasmine and honey wafts through the air in your wake. Setting the tray down on a small table near the balcony, you carefully pour a cup of the steaming tea and place it in front of your High King. Watching for any sign of acknowledgement.
Nothing.
With a sigh, you lean against the edge of the desk, tilting your head as you regard him deep in thought.
"High King, you have an hour until your next meeting. Rest a while."
He responds with a low grunt, eyes transfixed on his work.
An impish smile curves on your lips. If reason would not sway him, perhaps a bolder approach would. You reach out, brushing your fingers along the richly embroidered fabric draped over his arm. "Ereinion," you purr, your voice as teasing as it is seductive.
Again, nothing.
You narrow your eyes playfully, then gather the hem of your dress, and straddle his lap. Facing him with determination and hunger glimmering in your eyes.
That, at last, earned his rapt attention. His quill stilled mid-stroke as you settled yourself onto him, his hands hovering tentatively over your arms.
Resting your cheek against his, your warm breath ghosts over the sensitive shell of his ear. "High King. Take. A. Respite." You whisper, pressing slow deliberate kisses to emphasize each word before taking the lobe of his ear between your teeth.
Gil-galad exhales sharply, his large hands finally settling on your waist. His fingers grip you tight, and you begin to feel something firm press against your rear. He murmurs your name, though whether it's a reprimand or a surrender, you can't tell.
“Melethril, I have a very important-” he begins to argue for restraint, but it's half-hearted at most.
“In an hour...” You interrupt, brushing his long dark hair to the side, while you begin kissing down his neck. He groans as your lips dip further, and one of your hands roughly tugs the collar of his robe, giving you better access to his chest.
“I can feel how tense you are, like the string of a long neglected bow ready to snap,” you say, withdrawing from his lap and kneeling before him, your eyes locking as you run your hands eagerly up his thighs. “Please, allow me to serve you, High King.”
Gil-galad runs a hand over your cheek tenderly. You feel the smooth, cool, metal of his rings brush against your skin, and you can’t help but recall how they feel inside you. The very thought sends a shiver down your spine and a warm pulse through your core, which is only heightened when his thumb finds your bottom lip. Instinctively, you take it into your mouth and graze it with your tongue. When he adds two more fingers, rings and all, you begin sucking on them greedily. Your eyes never leave him.
An audible groan escapes him at the sight of you before him, and he hastily takes hold of himself with his free hand.
“You are a wicked distraction…” Gil-galad sighs, removing his fingers from your mouth while he lazily strokes himself.
“A much-needed one,” you reply with a self-assured grin, before wrapping your lips around his shaft and moaning along its length. His fingers reflexively thread through your hair, guiding your movements as you lavish him with your mouth.
“Perhaps you're right,” Gil-galad murmurs, as his head falls back against the chair. “Nan i ‘aear ar in elin…where did you learn to do tha-?” his breath catches as you take him deeper, your lips and nose flattening against his stomach. Gagging slightly, your throat constricts around him and saliva begins to seep from your mouth.
Tightening his grip on your hair, he holds you in place as he slowly begins to rock his hips.
You feel him begin to twitch inside your mouth as his thrusts become more and more erratic. But before he can finish, the door to the study flies open, and Elrond Peredhel swiftly steps inside. In his arms, skillfully balanced, are nearly a dozen gold-plated scrolls.
“Apologies, High King. I know I'm a tad early, but I thought, with so much on the agenda for today, we should get a head start.”
Gil-galad froze mid-thrust, his cock still buried deep in your throat. Schooling his expression into one of composed authority, he gently pulls free of your mouth, leaving you to desperately try and stay silent as you catch your breath.
“Ah,” Gil-galad pauses a moment to clear his throat. “Elrond, no need to apologize, please, help yourself to some tea. ” He gestures to the tea service by the balcony and subtly fixes his collar, all the while keeping a discreet eye on you. Still kneeling in front of him, scandalously hidden under his desk, lips swollen and glistening with saliva. It was enough to keep him hard and test his resolve.
“I believe I know who to thank for baking my favorite biscuits,” Elrond says warmly, pouring himself a cup of steaming tea. “She is remarkably talented,” he adds, gently stirring in some honey, with an unseen smirk.
“You have no idea…” Gil-galad replies dryly, flicking his eyes down at you briefly with an amused expression.
Underneath the desk, you bite back a giggle, and quietly resign yourself to wait until you can make a graceful escape. That is, however, until you remember your High King’s last command, before you were abruptly interrupted.
“…whatever happens, please don't stop–”
“Where would you like to begin?” Elrond asks, taking a seat across from the desk with his tea in hand. His sharp gray eyes immediately note the flush on Gil-galad's cheeks, his disheveled hair, the slight perspiration on his brow. Not to mention the way his eyes continue to wander under the desk, where Elrond’s ears pick up the faintest sound of panting breath.
“Why don't we start with my speech for the upcoming Yestarë celebration,” Gil-galad replies, tapping his fingers lightly against his knee.
“Very well,” Elrond deftly retrieves the speech he prepared and begins reading it slowly, pausing for any amendments the High King may have.
Elrond's polished recitation is promptly interrupted, however, as Gil-galad once again clears his throat, feeling your lips brush against the tip of his arousal. He looks down at you briefly, as you gesture with your eyes, silently asking for his permission to continue where you left off.
“Apologies, the air has been dreadfully dry.” Gil-galad takes a long sip of his tea, then settles into his chair.
“Please, continue.” he gestures for Elrond to proceed, and stealthily seizes a handful of your hair, guiding your mouth back to his aching cock. You take it eagerly, silently bobbing your head as your tongue caresses his length.
His eyes gradually close, fingers steepling under his chin. Pretending to hang on to every artful prose leaving Elrond’s lips, instead of the depraved pleasure he's receiving from yours.
“Is the pace to your liking, High King?” Elrond eventually asks, flicking his eyes up from the scroll, his voice snapping Gil-galad back to the subject at hand.
“The…pace?” Swallowing hard, Gil-galad struggles to maintain focus amidst the continued ecstasy brought by the warmth of your mouth gliding up and down his shaft.
“Of the speech,” Elrond clarifies, a subtle grin tugging at the corner of his mouth. “I know you typically prefer brevity, but I've often found a slow, methodical approach can produce a significantly more desirable effect,” he adds, eyes flashing with mischief.
You pause briefly, catching the inflection in Elrond’s voice, and slow your pace, almost agonizingly so. Gil-galad's breath catches, and his hands grip the arms of the chair so tight his knuckles turn white. Your tongue lightly strokes the underside of his shaft, teasing the tip as it glides over the slit glistening with precum.
“Any other…suggestions?” Gil-galad asks, his voice rough, trying desperately to mask the groan threatening to escape his lips.
With a contemplative hum, Elrond rests his elbow on the desk, tapping his fingers softly against his jaw as he gazes at his High King.
“I've also discovered a common misstep, with this type of oral address, is to focus too much on one subject,” he replies leisurely.
A low moan reluctantly escapes Gil-galad, as you take his balls into your mouth, suckling them gently. While your hand continues to stroke him at a relaxed pace, you quickly feel his flesh tighten with impending release as his hips buck against you.
With impeccable precision, you return your lips to his cock just in time. He erupts with a strangled groan, his body shuddering as he thrusts languidly into your mouth, spilling his seed down your eager throat.
Elrond admires the spectacle, his chin still resting upon his hand as he watches Ereinion Gil-galad, High King of the Noldor, unravel before him. Then, with the composure of a lifelong politician, Elrond rises from his seat and gives a cursory bow. “And with that, High King, I shall take my leave,”
Pausing at the door, Elrond turns his gaze once more to Gil-galad with a sly grin. “Oh, and do thank our dear lady for the biscuits. Her generosity is always a delight to behold.”
As the heavy door to the study shuts, you pop your head up from the desk with an impish grin.
“That was an unexpected surprise…” you mumble, biting your lip with unabashed arousal.
“Indeed…” Gil-galad replies, as both your eyes wander to the door where Elrond had exited not a moment before.
Perhaps this encounter heralded more thrills to come…
Pairing: Galadriel/Halbrand
AU: modern
Rating: explicit
Chapter: 1/12
Summary:
Galadriel has always done as she’s told, so when she finally enters her delayed rebellious streak at 28, her family and friends are more than a little surprised. In what seemed a split-second decision she left her job and her marriage, and bought a oneway ticket to the Southlands. There she plans to do all the things she has never done before, like go out past 2 AM, get high, or have a one night stand with a handsome stranger. What she didn’t account for is that handsome stranger making some impulsive life-changing decisions of his own.
Galadriel and Halbrand meet each other when they're both at a turning point in their life. While they're both out looking to change, neither of them really knows what the future looks like. That is, until it slowly becomes impossible to picture one without the other in it.

[Celebrimbor/Halbrand, angst with a happy ending, ft. Mirdania and Narvi]
read it here!
NOW COMPLETE! I truly cannot believe I wrote a whole novel, it makes me so incredibly happy and proud. a huge thank you to everyone who has been so kind and supportive throughout the whole process by leaving likes and reblogs and kudos and comments. I appreciate all of you! I really hope you all enjoy 🫶
It is my FIRM belief that without all the elf-ness and the setting of Middle Earth, Modern AU Human!Elrond is just,,, the most *pathetic* wet cat to ever wet. Like, all that nobleness? All that sense of responsibility and Celebrimbor's-life-rests-in-my-hands and I-alone-must-save-the-world-ness? Still there. He'd still rather jump off a waterfall than talk things out like a normal person, it's just completely unwarranted without the actual Big Bad Evil™️. So instead he's just this self-sacrificial, dramatic, anxious, emotionally stunted, sad little mess. In this essay I will--
Well, I don't have an essay. But I DO have a fic, check it out:
