Obitine Week Day 7
Here's my modest contribution to Obitine Week! I wish I had had more time to contribute sooner (and something less dark for one of the other days...), but sadly, life got in the way as it often does.
Please leave me kudos and comments if you feel it deserves it <3

Summary:
"So it was real, all of it. Satine was gone. She would never slap him, never kiss him, never smile at him again. He would never get another chance to hold her tiny waist between his hands. She had stopped breathing the same air as he did, and none of this talk would change that. Satine would also not live to witness the destruction of her world. Maybe it was for the best, all things considered; she had sacrificed so much to make her planet a place where her people would thrive and be at peace⌠As much as he had criticized her naive idealism, he had always admired her tenacity. In the pursuit of her beliefs, Satine had always been fearless, stubbornly so." Satine has just died, murdered by Maul. Obi-Wan now has to face his feelings and go on despite his pain. That's what Satine would want for him. For Obitine week 2026 - Day 7 - Free Day
Notes:
I'm so sorry for what I'm about to put you through, especially since most of the fics posted for Obitine week 2026 were very lighthearted in comparison! I don't know what to say, except that I listened to "Hurts like hell" by Fleurie & Tommee Profitt one day, and with it came flashes of Obi-Wan sitting on the ship that brought him back to Coruscant and crying over Satine. The rest just flowed... And it happened to be right on schedule for Obitine Week, so here I am, hopefully ruining your day with all this angst :)
