Whew that was one crazy engagement weekend celebrating my brother and my new sister in law!! I am exhausted but so happy for them!! I know this technically isn’t a map but I absolutely love these schematics that came with the BN edition of one of these!! This series was one of the best series I’ve ever read but it was also one of the most stressful!! ANYONE can die, seriously Jay and Amie do not hold back in this series. And I absolutely am HERE FOR IT!! I also love the creative way in which it’s told! I have never read anything like it and I want more!! Have you read this series? What did you think? . . I saw this series soooo much on bookstagram but was hesitant to start it. But then my friend read it and told me I had to read it and wow I am so glad I did!!! I absolutely love all these characters and the magical world Sarah created!! I am so glad bookstagram influences me with this series and so many other amazing ones!! I may have taken a quick photo with this gorgeous print when it was shipped to me for a friend. I am in love with all of @atouchofmagicdesigns beautiful artwork they get commissioned!! It’s going to be a long couple of days because I work two days have one off then work another two days...it’s rough. But I’m excited because it’s almost September and there are so many amazing books coming out!! Speaking of amazing books...I kick myself every day that while I was in London and saw this beautiful UK edition I didn’t buy it. I was only doing carry on so it would have been hard but I could have managed it!! Luckily I was able to find it a bit later and it’s one of my favorites!! Happy #shelfiesunday friends!! I absolutely loooooove multiple POVs especially when it helps improve the story line. Some of my favorites include Kiss of Deception, Truthwitch, The Bridge Kingdom, Dark Skies, and of course Furyborn!! I love that in Furyborn not only do you get very different POVs but they also occur during different time periods!! I am so excited (and nervous) to read Lightbringer and see how this series ends!! Let’s talk magic today because who doesn’t want magic in their life?!? I absolutely love reading about blood magic and one of my favorites is Bloodleaf!! Aurelia has spent her life in fear of being discovered as a witch by the Tribunal aka witch hunters because even being the Princess would not stop them from burning her at the stake. But that doesn’t stop this fierce woman from learning all she can about her blood magic! And wow is it an adventure of a learning experience! Aurelia has a talent for finding trouble and she gets into lots of it in Bloodleaf! I don’t want to give too much away but it is an amazing journey filled with handsome men, evil witch hunters, ghosts and a bit of a mystery!! And if you liked Bloodleaf WOW you are going to love book 2, Greythorne!!! I finished a couple days ago and you do NOT want to miss this one! It was incredible and delves deeper into Aurelia’s magic and a different magic as well!! And if you preorder Greythorne you can get some beautiful character cards and necklace!! It’s been wayyy too long since I’ve posted a Danielle Jensen book so here is one of my favorites!! While I really liked Dark Shores, Dark Skies was such a wild ride and Lydia and Killian are my FAVS!!! Plus purple is my favorite color so hellllooooo gorgeous cover!!! I am dying over here for Gilded Serpent (book 3). If you haven’t checked out this series I HIGHLY recommend you do!!! Dark Shores is told in dual POV between Teriana and Marcus and Dark Skies is a companion novel that occurs at the same time but is told on dual POVs between Lydia and Killian!!
