Tanglewood Lake by night.
I decided my midnight project would be building a farmer’s market and making use of some of my hood deco, so here we are!
WIP: Eyrie Point, high on a cliff on one of Kulo Sena’s sacred mountains. The site was once a stone and crystal quarry used by the ancient Empire of Chains - that’s one of their ruined guard towers next to it in the top pic. Today it’s the easily-defensible lair of feral griffins, descendants of Imperial war mounts. Those tall rock pillars are an excellent place to keep clutches of eggs - can you spot the nests?
I haven’t started landscaping yet, I’ve just been messing with OMSPs and things to get the nests up there, and making sure the stone pillars are where I want them to be. But I’m pleased with how it’s coming together, and I wanted to share how it looks at the moment, before it’s a highly landscaped scene that hopefully appeals to my accursed perfectionism. :)
In the lower pics, you can see it in hood view - close to one of the other lots I’m working on, Summer Falls - and also a zoomed out view of the whole terrain, which is fully decorated and waiting for me to build the homes so my sims can move back in. I’m really pleased with how it’s coming together!
Presenting the newest lot from Kulo Seeri! Now that the Story Progression mod is doing its stuff and I don’t feel as dissatisfied with my play, I can build community lots and not feel like I’m wasting my time. So I made one.
This ancient, overgrown walled pool - presumably for the use of whoever lived in that ruined castle right next to it - is now used by the Nuidya as a place to gather herbs and cool off on a hot summer day. The view is stunning at night, when it’s lit by the glow of the crystal flowers, but I was a lazy buildophobe who didn’t get a picture of that. Either way, I have to say I’m pleased with how it turned out. :)
