The Secret History of Twin Peaks by Mark Frost.
Twin Peaks: The Return
[It] is important that we learn to distinguish between mysteries and secrets. Mysteries precede humankind, envelop us and draw us forward into exploration and wonder. Secrets are the work of humankind, a covert and often insidious way to gather, withhold, or impose power. Do not confuse the pursuit of one with the manipulation of the other.
Archivist’s note, The Secret History of Twin Peaks - Mark Frost (2016)
me before reading tshotp: god i can't wait to find out what actually happened between norma and ed
me after reading tshotp:
thought #1: i've made a terrible mistake
thought #2: fucking hank
Maybe this is a stupid question, but I’ve seen conflicting claims. But does TSHoTP take place before or after events of S3?
I am about 1/4th into The Secret History of Twin Peaks and it's all mythical creatures and flying saucers. I do like it, but I would hate it if the series end like 'IT WAS ALL ALIENS' bc I always interpreted the ~weird~ stuff happening in Twin Peaks on a more abstract level, and I personally prefer it that way.
