have you seen tsj's fan demons on megaten reddit? do you think their quality is close to kaneko's works?

Hey! On the whole, I think they are okay. I don't really like to repost someone else's art without at least a link to the source (here's a Reddit link instead) but, apparently, TSJ's Chinese forum account where they would post this stuff is now gone. My favorites of the ones I've seen:

Väinämöinen, Taishang Laojun, Freya

TSJ's work is certainly noteworthy, but I'm not as impressed by it as I was OLdRingo's work, like these:

TSJ's stuff gets the Kaneko (or, rather, Shiraishi) shading very close, but there's something about the angles and curves in the art that's not quite as natural as OldRingo's. TSJ's remind me more of the Zoma forms in SH1 more than anything else.

In fact, it's quite akin to the Devil Summoner PSP port that took some of the Zomas and slapped mythological names on them. That's the impression I got for a lot of TSJ's demons.
