I guess I'm making HorrorBug a thing. So we'll I'm making a more put together list of things about it :3

-The main idea is anxiety, paranoia, hallucinations, and schizophrenia.

-The Main severe symptoms: Feeling Watched or followed, Becoming antisocial, Skittishness, Constant Dread, Self-injury, Aggressiveness, Panic attacks… And purple.

-Minor sign symptoms: Looming dread, Common Anxiety, Cracking voice, Studdering, Depressive behaviors, hearing small things (like a pen dropping or a paper crinkle), and Shakeyness.

-Severity will vary from person to person. The more anxious or mentally unstable the victim is the worse the effects will be.

-It is something treatable, but the longer it goes unnoticed the harder it is to get rid of. By the time the victim feels the need to lock them selfs away is stage 5 and nearly impossible to cure.

-For the first few days the victim may cling to a person who's important to them but then will break away suddenly.

-Theres 5 stages(symptoms are colored to their starting stage): 1-Just infected, 2-3/4 days, 3-1 week, 4-2 weeks, 5-3.5 weeks.

I HAVE LIKE SO MUCH FOR IT

So like I've posted the way it transferred but I haven't decided who started it yet- since my Narrator isn't in the Narraverse yet (I'm scared to let his leash go) it would have to be from someone else- it might come from my oc Hailey because her entire thing within the tsp stuff is she is a drug producer who tests various things on Simon like a lab rat one of which ended up needing his code completely rebooted and restored. She said “I can make money off this” sold the liquid to someone she doesn't have record of and now it's on the verge of a problem :3

That's all I have for its origin but if you like me to talk about it more just ask me anything :)

I have to say, I'm very interested in the horrorbug idea you guys put together.

I really wanted to ask, how does it go for the infection part? Is it more physical like a bite or scratch? Or is it transmittable through quieter means like the air, water, insects etc?

IVE BEEN STALLING ON THIS AND I APOLOGIZE

I've been thinking about this for a while now and I have come to the conclusion that the first attempted infection- that's right attempted- is a deliberate attempt. Someone had started it in one way or another.

Now the thing of infectious properties is a purple liquid- not quite sure what it is but we'll nail that part down.

It's vapor is colored purple for simplicity I guess? Well the intended target didn't get affected and it went to affect a little bug instead

And that's the start of the whole damn food chain. It started with the narrator being “bitten” by said bug (basic I know) and after its in a human-like host it's extremely contagious if the others exposed are unaware of the virus or whatever it is.

In the event to liquid is turned into a vapor it will have no effect if the target cant ingest it somehow- like through breathing, drinking, eating, or through any new or existing orifices

So with the general idea it was originally through a liquid which got quite out of hand and now is spread through the air, water, and animals :)

I think this is just an excuse to be angsty now

Also Horror Gore is a good part of this- as injury’s can go from scratching skin to ripping chunks of flesh out to literally removing organs by hand. :3 anywho have my prototype HorrorBug Narry, along with a little Stanley to accompany him
