Y/N was a sweetheart. Always positive, a never-ending smile across her face. You could count on one hand how often she was unfriendly to anyone.
She was the total opposite of her mate, Tsu'tey. His looks alone were intimidating, sharp jawline, broad and muscular body.
After Tsu'tey and Y/N mated, the olo'eyktan and the tsahik questioned the decision of eywa. And not only them, a bunch of other clan members didn't know how it worked out between them neither. Maybe even eywa herself didn`t.
Tsu'tey and some others came back from a hunt. Y/N swiftly ran to the direction where she heard the sound of the pa'li, and a moment later she spotted her mate.
She walked over to him as he dismounted his direhorse, hugging him with the usual smile on her face, "Zola‘u txal, Oe lom nga."
Wrapping an arm around her waist, a smile replaced the harsh expression on Tsu'tey's face, "I missed you too, ma Y/N." He gave her a small kiss on the head before turning his attention back to the other hunters and the clan.
A few minutes passed after Tsu'tey spoke to the olo'eyktan and the tsahik about the successful hunt. Shortly thereafter, he slung his arm around his mate once again, now on his way to their shared marui, craving some alone-time with her.
Jake, the clan newcomer, watched after them with slightly furrowed brows, "How are they even-"
"Don't-!... Don't question the decision of eywa... Although... I'd like to know too...", his mate, Neytiri interrupted him.

Day 4: Sunsets drive romantic feelings in people. They create magical moments and can amplify the love people have for each other
Tsu'tey:
He had told you that he had a surprise for you that night so you watched in anticipation is that as he packed a bag with some food before he reached for your hand and led you out of your tent.
"So where are you taking me?" You asked him.
"It's a surprise yawne." He said placing a kiss on your hand that was laced with yours.
"Can't you give me a hint?" You asked him making him sigh.
"Yawne you're killing me here. You'll see in just a minute." He said as you guys walked up the mountain.
"What do you mean?" You asked him.
"It means it's a surprise that you will see in just a minute, so please be patient." He said making you smile.
"I'll try to since I can tell you worked really hard on whatever it is." You said pressing a kiss to his cheek.
You guys walked a little further up the mountain until you reached the cliff where you watched as he set down the food that he bought for you guys.
"How did you find this place?" You asked him.
"I was training the warriors one day and one of them had wandered off to this place, and while we were helping him, I couldn't help but think of how much you might like especially with the view we're about to see." He said.
"It's already a pretty view." You said as you look at the forest that leads out to the ocean.
"Well, anytime now you're really gonna think it's pretty, come sit with me." He said pulling you next to him.
You sat next to him in anticipation of what he was referring to when you saw the sun beginning to set over the horizon casting a pink/purplish among the sky. Tsu'tey watched how stared at the sky in such adoration and talked about pretty it was, and it brought a smile to his face.
"Was it worth it?" He asked you.
"Most definitively. Thank you, ma tsu'tey." You said placing a kiss on his lips.
"Your welcome ma y/n, though you're much prettier than it." He said making you blush.
Z-dog:
On one of your first dates with Alicia, you had told her that you had always wanted to watch the sunset with the person you love but had yet to experience it. So when she got back from her mission that day and saw that sunset was about to happen, she ran to find you so she could make it happen.
"Hey baby, can you grab your mask and come with me?" She asked you halfway stepping into your room.
You nodded your head grabbed your mask off the table and followed her outside your room. She motioned for you to climb on her back, which you did even though you were a little confused and curious as to where she was taking you. She took you through a few rooms that you had never been through before, setting you down by a door and helping you put on your mask, and making sure it was secure.
"What is going on my love?" You asked her after she finished fixing your mask.
"You'll see in just a moment, I just gotta make sure you are safe." She said pressing a kiss to your forehead that the mask didn't cover.
She opened the door at the perfect time as the sun had just begun to set over the horizon. She slowly closed the door and watched how you looked at the sunset in awe. Your ability to find the beauty in everything was what drew her to you, she gently pulled you into her lap so she could hold you while you guys watched the sunset.
"This is so beautiful, thank you." You said finally looking at her.
"No need to thank me, sweetheart, I remember how on one of our first dates you said that you always wanted to watch the sunset with the person you love, and I did promise you I would make that happen." She said smiling at you.
"What are you doing sweetheart?" She asked watching as you started fumbling with your mask.
"Probably something stupid, but I need to kiss you right here, right now." You said lifting your mask off your head and pressing your lips to hers.
Your girlfriend was stunned at your actions but nonetheless kissed you back unaware her friends were watching for the window trying to get a picture of you two. Prager successfully got the picture and headed back inside before he was caught. You two finally pulled apart and were still holding your breath as Alicia put your mask back on you, and gave the okay to breathe again.
"Thank you for this." You said smiling at her.
Jake:
You and Jake had been sitting there watching the sunset on the tree branch. Jake had been in his head feeling like he hadn't been a good mate lately toward you since the RDA had returned. He knew he was lucky to have someone like you as his mate and he didn't want to lose you.
"You know I love you right?" He asked you.
"I know you do. What's going on ma Jake?" You asked him looking at him.
"Nothing I just don't feel I tell you or show enough that I love you especially here lately." He said.
"Ma Jake, it's not nothing. You constantly tell me you love and even when you don't I can just feel it through your actions, whether it be making me breakfast, leaving me flowers, or just being there when I wake up or go to sleep. You are trying to protect the people well more so the planet and I'm sure that is a lot to deal with, you are a wonderful mate ma Jake and I love you so much." You said pressing a kiss to his lips.
"You mean that?" He asked you as he laced his hands with yours.
"Absolutely, if anything I'm the lucky one here. I love you ma y/n." You said giving him a soft smile.
With the sunset hitting just right, the sun gave me a glow and Jake swore you were an angel sent to him and he swore that he would do anything to protect you.
"I love you ma y/n." He said placing a kiss on your lips as you guys finished watching the sunset.
Tarsem:
You were on your back to camp when Tarsem came by on his horse before stopping in front of you and your friend, asking if you wanted to come to want the sunset with him to which you happily agreed and climbed onto his horse.
You guys rode for a bit before you arrived at your usual spot on the cliff where you saw a picnic set up making you look at him with a smile.
"I thought we could have a sunset picnic." He said helping you off of his horse before you guys walked over to where it was set up at.
You took a seat next to him, and you guys began eating and catching up on your days while the sun began to set creating such a pretty background. Sometime while the sunset began you shuffled into between his legs and he wrapped his arms around you.
"I love you ma y/n." He said.
"I love you ma Tarsem. Thank you for this." You said turning and pressing a kiss on his cheek.
"You're welcome. We should try to do a sunset once a week if we can." He said.
"I would like that alot." You said smiling at him.
Neteyam:
Neteyam had told you that he was going to take you and your daughter somewhere this evening when he got back from his chores. You were so excited and curious at the same time about where he was taking you two, so you got you two ready and as you were finishing up, you heard your mate return.
"Oh look at you my angel, don't look so cute." He said picking your daughter up as she responded to him.
"Where's your mama huh?" He asked her making you smile at how cute he was being with her.
"I'm right here, sorry I was finishing changing." You said walking over to him.
"It's alright, I must say you look absolutely stunning my dear." He said placing a kiss on your lips.
"Thank you ma 'Teyam." You said.
You guys finally got out of the tent and started walking to where Neteyam was taking you guys and refused to tell you or even give you a hint about it. You finally arrived and saw a blanket set up on the cliff and saw some food laid out.
"I figured we could watch the sunset and I made some food in case we got hungry. What do you think?" He asked you.
"I love it." You said kissing his cheek as you took a seat and placed your daughter between you guys.
All while you were watching the sunset, Neteyam couldn't help but smile at how much love he had in life since you arrived and since your daughter made her appearance, he had always dreamed of having a life like this.
"What are you thinking about Teyam?" You asked snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Just how much I love you two. You changed my life for the better and I'm so happy about it." He said lacing his hand with yours.
"Good because I'm happy about it too. I knew you were my future from the moment i laid eyes on you. I love you ma Teyam." You said leaning over and pressing a kiss to his lips.
"I love you too Ma y/n." He said wrapping an arm around you and pulling you and your daughter closer to him.

Tsu’tey was always a reserved man, never someone who openly displayed affection, at least, not for others to see. Known for his cold demeanor in the clan and never really minding that, Tsu’tey kept mostly to himself. That was until he fell for you.
The union between you two came gradually but swiftly, hidden in the unspoken words and lingering touches, like a precious gem that needed to be protected from the prying eyes. And Tsu’tey struggled deeply, because all throughout him courting you, all he wanted was to be consumed by you - to touch you as much as he could, to be immersed in your scent, to hear your voice and make you smile. But there was always the fear of scaring you away, so he contained it and locked it away, waiting patiently until the day you would be officially his - when you would truly choose him, the way that he had chosen you.
And when you did eventually mate, and the realization dawned that he no longer had to keep his heart caged, the love for you spilled out of him uncontrollably. His hands were eager to explore every inch of your being, lips trailing soft kisses all over your skin, as if etching the memory into his mind. So within the initial days after the blissful mating, both of you preferred to seek privacy, never leaving your home to enjoy the newfound connection. During these days, Tsu'tey became inseparable from you, clung to you like a second skin, obsessed with the way you were consuming all of his thoughts.
But as the day of reemerging into the public eye arrived, you suddenly felt intimidated by the idea of getting attention from the clan. Having already inherent innate insecurity, being openly with the chief added a new layer of complexity. After all, he was highly respected within the clan, and the standards for his chosen mate were high, casting a shadow of heavy expectation upon you. And as you returned to your communal duties now together, you attempted to make yourself small next to him, hoping that shrinking in his presence will keep you hidden from the eyes of the others. But his scent lingering on your skin announced the news of your mating loudly. You were naive to think that keeping a distance with Tsu’tey in public and minimizing the touches could be enough.
And while it was unfortunate that it didn’t work, what was worse was that it breathed a wave of insecurity into Tsu’tey. That perhaps, you didn't feel about him as strongly as he felt about you. At first, he tried to write it off to your reserved nature, thinking that you were probably just getting used to his affections, but the more you flinched whenever he tried to reach you, the more worrisome he grew.
As you sat together during the communal dinner, you were anxious, feeling as if you were being watched at all times.
“Yawne, you look… stressed,” Tsu’tey made an observation, reaching for your hand, which you instinctively pulled away from his grasp.
The surge of overwhelming emotions within Tsu'tey turned from pure desire and love to a perplexing mixture of confusion and pain. Even this slightest withdrawal in your response caused his heart to clench, piercing amber eyes searched for the reason behind your hesitance.
“Yawne?” he glared down at your hand now tucked between your thighs, as if trying to shield it from his own hand finding yours, “Are you ashamed of being with me?”
“No, of course I am not ashamed,” you shook your head firmly, surprise flickering in your eyes, “Why would I ever be ashamed of being with you?”
“I don’t know, Y/N,” Tsu’tey’s frown mirrored your own, as if it was a puzzle both of you desperately needed to solve, “Why do you pull away when I try to touch you?”
You shrank under his gaze, ears lowering in defeat or perhaps embarrassment, preparing for a vulnerable confession. Cautiously, you scanned the surrounding crowd to ensure no one was listening in. Tsu’tey reached for you once more, resting his hands over your shoulders, as if trying to snap you back into the conversation.
“It’s just… I don’t want to draw attention to us,” you bit your lip, wishing that you could take words back, “I know that everyone already thinks you are too good for me, so I don’t want to remind them of that.”
His expression softened, hands moving from your shoulders to gently cup your face.
“That is not true, no one thinks that,” his tone was serious, trying to convince you that he meant every single word he uttered, “And it shouldn’t matter, yawne. When it comes to you, I cannot hide my feelings. I have yearned for the moment to hold you and touch you ever since my eyes first laid on you. Please do not deny me that, yes?”
You nodded weakly, ears flattening against your skull in a mixture of embarrassment and flattery. Tsu’tey barely spoke more than a few words, especially when it came to his feelings. But he just wasn’t used to it, if he could, he would have screamed at the top of his lungs about how much he loved you. A mischievous smile then curved upon his lips as his mind raced with an idea to convey his affection to you openly, even without the need for spoken words.
A loud yelp escaped your lips, slicing through the air, as Tsu'tey unexpectedly scooped you up the ground and stood up, throwing you over his shoulder. It was so sudden, that your face almost collided with his back, and you had to frantically cling to his body to grip onto him. Your legs dangled helplessly in the air, desperately searching for the solid ground that had become too far away.
“Tsu’tey! Put me down!” you hissed angrily, swatting at his back, but he only chuckled.
The gesture, of course, drew the attention of the whole clan, and curious gazes fixated upon the scene unfolding before them. Annoyed by the unexpected display, you swatted at Tsu'tey again in an attempt to free yourself from his grasp. But instead of releasing you, he turned around dramatically and spoke loudly.
“Everyone, my beautiful mate and I will leave the dinner earlier tonight,” he announced, still holding you tightly, his hands gripping onto your thighs, “Please enjoy the rest of the evening without our presence.”
You could have sworn in that moment that you were probably turning purple from all of the embarrassment. Your heart raced, adrenaline rushing through your body, as Tsu’tey began to walk through the crowd with a snicker. Yet despite your expectations, there was no judgment in the looks you were receiving from the clan members. Still hanging upside down over his shoulder, you could see them only chuckling and nodding with smiles at the sight of Tsu’tey, always cold and unemotional, finally letting himself relax with his mate.
“Tsu’tey! Everyone’s staring,” you whispered shyly, as he continued to walk, carrying you effortlessly.
“Let them stare,” he chuckled weakly, delivering a soft smack to your bottom, making you gasp in shock, “They need to see the pure joy you bring into my life.”
You bit your lip in amusement, his words were clearly aligning with the reactions you were getting. Tsu'tey's carefree demeanor and the accepting murmurs of your clan members reassured you that your bond was something to celebrate, not hide.
Day 1: A love letter is an expression of love in written form. However delivered, the letter may be anything from a short and simple message of love to a lengthy explanation and description of feelings
Jake: He had written his very letter, the other night while you were out with a few of your friends which gave him enough time to get his thoughts out on paper and to make them make sense. After he finished writing it, he stashed it into one of his military boxes wanting to give it to you at the perfect time. He was gonna be gone for most of the day on a hunt with some of the members of the clan, so he made your breakfast and set his letter next to it for you to read when you got up.
"I love you ma y/n." He said placing a kiss on your forehead before leaving.
You ended up waking up a few hours later and frowned remembering Jake was off on a hunt. You stretched and walked over to the table where you saw that he had made your breakfast before he left which made you smile and then you noticed a piece of paper with your name on it sitting next to it. You sat down and opened it as you ate curious about what it said.

I'm writing this while you are out with your friends, which is good because I know I could never write this with you around because I would mess up my words or thoughts. I've been waiting for you for so long, and now that you are here with me, I will never ever let you go. We both know that life is not always fair. We know that there will come a time when we have to face trials in our relationship, but we will overcome because our love will see us through. The second you heard the horn signaling the hunting party was done, you made your way toward him with your letter clutched in your hand. Jake smiled when he saw you sprinting towards him with the letter in your hands.
"Thank you! Thank you so much for my letter. I love it and you so much." You said wrapping your arms around him as Jake swore his heart was gonna burst.
"Your welcome sweetheart, Im glad you love it." He said placing a kiss on your forehead.
Neteyam: He wasn't used to writing his feelings out like he was expressing them to you verbally so he had gone to his dad for some help. After seeing and reading some of the ones that his dad had written his mom, he felt mom confident with writing one, so he wrote it while you were out with Kiri just so he could actually focus and not be distracted. And once he started writing the words just poured out of him.

He smiled re-reading over what he had written and folded up the letter and set it on the table for you to find as he heard his father calling for him. After helping his parent's out he returned to yall's tent where he found you at the table with your back to him while you read over the letter which made him nervous.
"What do you think my love?" He asked wrapping his arms around your waist and resting his chin on your shoulder.
"I love it. It's so beautiful, thank you so much for this. I'll cherish this forever." You said.
Tsu'tey: Tsu'tey wasn't used to expressing his feelings through words, sure he would tell you that he loved you or missed you or would compliment you but you never knew how truly felt regarding you or ya'lls relationship. You never held it against him, it was just the way he was and you still loved him for it. So it was a surprise to see a letter with your name on it and one of your favorite flowers next to it, one morning while Tsu'tey was off doing his daily chores.

Yes, I know it is not your birthday, or Valentine’s Day, or any other special occasion. It’s just an ordinary day; a Thursday to be exact.
I’m writing to you today because I just came to the realization that life has been extremely chaotic lately and I have been selfishly choosing to focus on myself instead of you and our relationship.
I would first like to start off by telling you that never in my life had I thought that I would ever find someone who loves me the way you do. Not that I believed that I was incapable of being loved, but I simply could not fathom finding someone who could ever appreciate and cherish me the way I dreamed about. Your heart swelled at the words on the paper, you never knew that Tsu'tey had felt this way towards your relationship and it honestly made you love him more for noticing you and everything you do for him. You debated on whether or not you should go seek him out from whatever chore he was doing and thank him or wait until he got home. You decided to go find him which wasn't hard to do since he was training the new warriors, you kind of stood off to the side while he finished his lesson not wanting to distract him or the warriors. Tsu'tey noticed you and the piece of paper in your hand and smile a bit before walking over to you.
"Sorry to interrupt...I just wanted to say thank you so much for this...you don't know how much it means to me." You said to him.
"No need to apologize you are always welcomed to interrupt but did you like I tried my best to express to you how I felt about us." He said lacing his hand with yours.
"It was more than perfect, I could tell how you felt with the words. Thank you so much Tsu, I really do appreciate it." You said to him.
"You're welcome, I love you and appreciate you so much yawne." He said placing a kiss on your lips.
Tarsem: Tarsem had gone to his mentor Tsu'tey for help with his letter and thought his mentor was for sure gonna laugh at him or something but he didn't, he actually helped Tarsem work out his thoughts and what he wanted to say and then showed him the one he was working on for his own mate and that helped Tarsem who thanked him and promised not to tell anyone. Tarsem worked on his letter in between breaks in seeing you, wanting to surprise you with the letter which he did while he went out to gather some food for your guys.

"Ma y/n." He said instantly preparing his apologies as you walked over and helped Jake up off the ground putting some distance between him and Tsu'tey.
"Ma y/n." Tsu'tey tried to say but stop seeing the look on your face made him stop as he stepped back with his tail tucked between his leg, he knew better than to make you even more upset right now.
"I had come to have lunch with you to thank you for being so good and not fighting with Jake, but clearly I was wrong." You said as Jake watched in shock not used to seeing Tsu'tey like this.
"Ma y/n please." He said almost begging at this point hating that he disappointed you.
"No. Have lunch by yourself and think about what you did. I don't want to talk to you right now." You said shoving the basket in his hands before leaving.
You went home that day angry well more so upset about Tsu'tey's actions and slept even rougher without him by your side. A day later Jake had come to find you want to talk to you about yesterday. He hesitantly stopped by your hut unsure if he should even talk to you not wanting to upset Tsu'tey anymore.
"Jake, hi. Come in." You said opening the curtain for him to enter.
"Hi y/n, I wanted to talk to you about yesterday at the Hallelujah Mountain mountains." He said as you nodded.
"Sure. What do you want to talk about?" You asked as you two took a seat.
"Yesterday ..we'll more I wanna know why you keep defending me from Tsu'tey I mean that's your mate?" He said kinda confused.
"I'm not originally from this clan....about 4-5 years ago, most of my clan was killed off leaving me to come and find a new home.....I was an outsider like you I had to go through practically everything you went through and when I saw him treating you like that I had to step because I know what that feels like." You said shocking him.
"I had no idea...when Tsu'tey does that, it feels like initiation I had to go through with the Marines back on earth but thank you for looking out for me y/n." He said to you.
"Anytime. Jake, how was he when I left?" You couldn't help but ask him making him smile at how much you guys loved each other.
"He wasn't too good. I could see the sadness in his eyes as he looked at the picnic you had made. And today he just canceled practice which isn't like him...Maybe you should talk to him?" Jake offered as you nodded your head.
After Jake left you cleaned up the hut and gathered your thoughts on how to approach your mate after you yelled at him. Your thoughts were interrupted by Tarsem being at your entrance making you confused.
"Tarsem?" You asked.
"Sorry to show up like this but he wanted me to come to take you to where he was. If you ask me I think that he was afraid of you saying no." He said making you laugh a little.
You allowed him to take you to wherever Tsu'tey wanted you to meet him. You two made small talk and shared some laughs as you walked but then you finally reached a pasture where you saw Tsu'tey standing looking nervous.
"Thank you, Tarsem." You both said before Tarsem left leaving you two there.
"Ma y/n, these are for you." He said placing a flower in your hair before handing you some flowers.
"Thank you ma Tsu'tey." You said smiling at him as he grabbed your hand and started leading you to a secluded spot in the pasture.
"What is all this?" You asked looking at him.
"I wanna apologize for my behavior yesterday and make up for ruining the beautiful picnic had set up for us." He said.
"I never want to make you mad or disappointed in me which is ironic because I don't care what most people think of me but with you I do. Your my mate and I never want to upset you like that, seeing that look on your face yesterday made me feel really terrible and I hope you can forgive me." He said sincerely.
"Ma Tsu'tey I appreciate that really and I do forgive you. The only reason I don't want you to pick on Jake is that I was him or in his position once and know what he feels like." You said squeezing his hand as realization hit him as to why you were so concerned about Jake now.
"Yawne, I didn't know....you never told me about that." He said as you nodded your head.
"I know I didn't and I'm sorry. I just try not to talk about it too much because it was so bad that I was considering leaving but I'm glad I didn't because I got to meet you and once I did it somehow stopped." You said smiling up at him.
"I'm glad you didn't leave either but next time or if it ever again, you tell me alright? I don't want you to ever feel like you don't belong because you do right here by my side, okay?" He said melting your heart.
"I promise. And I love you, Tsu." You said leaning up and pressing a kiss on his lips.
"I love you Ma y/n." He said smiling as you two pulled apart and sat down to enjoy the picnic he set up.
You two spent the afternoon talking and eating until you started to feel sleepy, the restless night from the night before catching up to you which your mate noticed right away. He shifted a little so his back was resting against the tree before inviting you into his arms which you happily went into.
"Rough night too?" He asked you running a hand through your hair.
"Yeah, I hate it when we fight, much more when you're not next me." You said with a pout.
"I'm sorry I promise for us to fight anymore. Get some rest yawne, I'm right here, nothing is gonna get you." He said leaning down and pressing a kiss to your forehead making you smile.

I dooo!! I've a few drafts I haven't posted!! But here's a little drabble!! 💚💚💚
You and Tsu'tey have been friends since childhood, and you've had feelings for each other for as long as you can remember.
And you haven't exactly talked about it, haven't admitted it out loud. But both of you know.
Tsu'tey is always so kind and patient with you, always so careful with how he treats you. He worships the ground you walk on, helps you with everything you might need. Whenever you're successful at something, he's overjoyed and he'll pamper you for days.
You're not officially a mated pair, but you're a pair either way. Always holding each other's hands, placing little kisses on each other's cheeks or forehead. You'll cuddle on occasion, after a training session, you'll curl up together, and you let him spoon you, his hands softly tracing your body until you fall asleep in his arms.
Today is one of those days.
As you lay in his soft embrace, his hands wandering across the skin of your waist, you shyly say, “The people have been talking lately.”
Tsu'tey hums quietly. “The people like to talk,” he replies.
“They've been talking about us.”
You've heard more than enough rumors going around, people talking about you and Tsu'tey, debating whether or not you're together, whether or not you've already mated, whether or not you're already with child.
“What have they been saying about us?” Tsu'tey questions, kissing your shoulder gently.
“They're wondering whether or not we're a mated pair,” you reply, chuckling softly. When he doesn't reply, you nervously add, “Is it—It's ridiculous, isn't it?”
“It's not that ridiculous,” he replies, causing you to glance over your shoulder to meet his gaze.
“Really?”
Tsu'tey has a huge smile drawn over his face. “I think we could make it work, no?”
Your eyes just about sparkle, growing wide as you watch him.
Tsu'tey places his forehead against yours, softly saying, “I See you.”
And you can tell, you know that this time he's saying it is different, unique, something closer to I love you.
And you smile back, replying, “I See you.”
And then Tsu'tey's mouth is on yours, soft and gentle, as if testing the waters, before you kiss him back. He slips his tongue between your lips, softly meeting yours, making you gasp softly.
When you pull apart, you keep your foreheads pressed together.
“Let the people talk,” he says to you, kissing the tip of your nose. “Don't listen to them. Only thing that matters is you and me. Together.”
You smile. “Together,” you echo.
