This might ruffle some feathers but I think. Some of y'all need to realize the shipping possibilities are so much bigger than Mitsukou and Hananene. I've been in this fandom for years and still, I come across people going 'wtf why? (insert ship) don't make sense together, plus Hananene/Mitsukou canon' like BROOOO shipping isn't just 'what makes the most sense canonically,' it's just for funsies!! For laughs!! For joy!! For amusement!! For god's sake, people used to ship frozen, tangled, brave, httyd and trotg characters together. TBHK has such a huge cast and it's a shame some of y'all instantly hate on ships that aren't mainstream. Even though I don't like some of the ships I've included either, I'm not going to take time out of MY day to dog on someone's ship post. I just scroll and move on. It's okay to like mainstream things, it's okay to dislike nonmainstream things. But please don't go after the shippers who just want to have fun.

The trio "blonde, black, pink" is kind of a classic, you know

This is a typical shounen trio, lol, and not only this genre, right? Also romcoms. Because of the existing cliche, you can at least say that such characters in the title will have a special connection, and at most you can ship them 🤭 which is what happened with my ocs, lol. I didn't even try on purpose (and that's why it's even cooler), but they turned out to be that very blonde, black, pink team 🤜🏻

But I like how the cliche is played up a bit with them. All the blondes are guys, but my Sigyn is a woman, and very much a shounen protagonist with a lot to achieve. The black boys are always very unhappy and withdrawn, but my Erich is a social mess. The pinks are more diverse, so it's not at all surprising for my pink daughter to be cute, but with a double meaning... haha.

tbhk ships i super like and how i view their dynamics

hananene (sacrifice everything, including their life, to save the one person they love dearly x absolutely crushed by the actions of the person they love, wondering why they couldn't just stay with them)

aoinene (the one person who lets them feel normal x the one person who lets them feel special. they want the other to be happy, no matter what)

hanamitsu (two boys beaten by life discover the little things that make them feel human, together. but they're running on short time and their unsaid feelings get buried 6 ft deep)

tsulemon (one guy burns the roof and gets caught by someone recording the entire thing. said person joins in and they become inseparable, and soon become the most annoying couple on campus. prankster4prankster type shit)

koukane (//shout out to NS ur fic changed lives (mine)// a gravitational pull they can't escape from, letting them find comfort with each other through hard times)

aoimei (muse x artist; the muse who could never be their real self yet the artist always captures the real self of their muse)

tsukou (rivals on opposite sides yet they have so much in common. for one, it hurts seeing the other because it reminds them of themself. the other finds comfort, because it reminds them of themself)

sakusumi (two people who have repeated the same cycle over and over but are bound forever with no escape, yet somehow, they find an unlikely escape in each other)

natsuteru (stupid x stupid but hides it better. they would have this rivalry to see who could get injured less. the injured gets bandaged by the other)

terukane (stubborn love; one who believes they're not in love x one who doesn't want to confess first)

lemonkane (dumb x dumb, yet they are super sweet together. they are acts of service and physical touch)
