can you do something about Five interacting with his niece (Diego's or Luther's kid or something, you can choose if they have a power or not) and reader, Five's niece, is just a really lethargic and tired person?
A/N: Ooooooh yes! I love this prompt! I was a little confused, so if I interpreted it wrong, I'm so sorry. Sorry for the wait as well. I imagined the kids are going through puberty, so they're all around 8 and 15. Takes place around S4 times, but I've added some changes.
Five with his Nieces, Nephews, and Niblings
Soft. Just off the bat. Soft.
Five (who isn't a CIA agent, screw that) works from home, so he's the family babysitter most of the time.
He claims to be annoyed when he is told he has to watch over several tired children while their parents are busy.
He's SO HAPPY he gets to spend this time with you, Grace, Coco, Claire, and Collins (Coco's twin).
In this universe, all of the Hargreeves children get powers.
You kids didn't get your powers right away; it took you all going through puberty to get them. Five theorized it was because you all weren't born BY someone releasing Marigold, but rather you were all just conceived normally with Marigold-infused DNA.
As people with marigold powers grow, they get very, very tired, very, very quickly.
It's their body's way of learning how to handle so much power - the more powerful you are, the more tired you get.
It's like training a muscle, you don't get it right away, you gotta learn.
Five, like your father, Viktor, and the rest of your uncles and aunts, remembers what it was like for him, so he's very patient and soft with you and the others as you learn to work around it.
Claire is the least tired, only having the power to read minds when touching someone. She mostly sits by Five as the others sleep, curled up against him as he reads chapter books to her or tells her some of his more tamer adventures across the timeline.
Coco is next, getting Diego's ability to manipulate trajectory. She also loves "Uncle Five's" stories and loves to cuddle you and the others.
Collin's power is a mutation, completely different from his parents'. Whenever he draws on himself, he can make the images come to life. Lila laughed in Diego's face when they both realized that meant at least one of their kids is going to be obsessed with tattoos. He loves having people draw different things on his skin so can bring them to life to play with the group. (Uncle Five's drawings are the best)
You, on the other hand, are Viktor's child. So you know you're the sleepiest and most powerful of them all. Not only can you use soundwaves to fly, like your father, but you also have a sonic screech and can project your own heartbeat or pulse to create shockwaves.
Your family can't think of a time when you weren't nodding off since your power developed. You were so tired all the time.
You and the other children support each other. Sleepovers are common with pillow forts, teas, coco (the drink), and movie nights.
When Five joins you all to keep an eye on you, he plays video, board, and card games with you, reads to you, and helps you with the piece of math homework you can't seem to understand.
He listens to any child who comes to him with woes or exciting news. He listens when they complain about being tired, about their powers, about school, or about their summer jobs.
He's there for all of you.
When you're all sick in bed with flare-ups, he's making soup, putting on movies, bringing you all your comfort toys, and letting all four of you cuddle him until his limbs go numb and he can't move.
He's the favorite uncle, and the other siblings are playfully jealous. If anyone doesn't know what kind of present to get a kid, they go to Five, knowing he'll know.
He's the first one to notice when you're nodding off, apart from your father, of course.
When the five of you grow up, he's at every achievement, at every play or recital. He missed this chance once before he wasn't going to do it again.
Whenever you're down in the dumps, he'll kiss your head and go, "I'm so proud of you, (name). You know you're amazing, right?"
You'd go, "You have to say that, Uncle Five, you're my uncle!"
And Five would reply, "I am also one of the smartest people to exist! And I don't love telling lies! So tell me, (name), am I lying?"
You laugh and go, "No, Uncle Five,"
He'd then prep your favorite snack and tell you to take a break.
Five loves you and is very proud of you. He'll be there for you for the timelines he missed, for the time lost, and would do anything to protect you and the others.
