I made this for my friend but they have two kids and I don't want to make a second one and also are "safety eyes" really considered safe for young children? (no.) So now idk if this fellow is going to stay with me for a few years until I make another one and my friend's kids are older? In any case, it's super cute. The little pink dots in the yarn are roses!

I signed up for a monthly yarn club where I'll get a different green yarn each month. I was picturing earth tones and thinking about making a hexagon blanket with all the different green shades but July's yarn is. so neon.

They dye this themselves and it's wonderful, but also, I'm not a neon person and I have no idea what I'm going to make with it yet.

I'm overwhelmed AF. Layoffs at work, a chaotic house with too many people in it (luckily all people I love, but I Need More Space), imminent travel that I'm trying to make the most of but I know it'll be stressful, spending a little too frivolously #mydopamine, summer going so fast, schedule too full, etc. It doesn't help that I'm exhausted again; my iron/ferritin numbers are back in the anemic zone (<50). Hopefully my next infusion will fix me?

Been doing a lot of lediting... not much else

Listening

I've been listening to the Touhou soundtrack again, mostly Akyu's Untouched Score (the music from the PC-98 games). I'm growing quite fond of the fun sounds the PC-98 is able to make.

Watching

Not much. This week's Garbage Time episode was pretty fun, though.

Playing

Mostly fallow. A little bit of Pokemon TCGP here and there, but I've primarily been doing level editing in my spare time (more on that in the making section).

Making

I am continuing to chip away at my TSAC region project. I started work on TSAC's leg/underhang/wall, though I haven't quite gotten used to The Exterior's style yet. It's a lot of experimentation... some of the tiles are very confusing to use. Though, I did make a functional region gate between the structure interior/exterior, so that's progress! Here's a preview of one room:

I also figured out how to use RegionKit to make custom backgrounds, so I've been playing around with that.

This is still very rough and requires some tweaking, but I like it so far.
