Enjoy the flavors of fresh salmon, tuna, and avocado in these delicious sushi rolls. Ideal for a quick lunch or dinner.
Instructions: Cook sushi rice according to package directions in a rice cooker or on the stove. Combine rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small saucepan. Cook until the sugar dissolves. When the rice is done, transfer it to a large mixing bowl and add the vinegar mixture. Mix until the vinegar mixture is evenly distributed over the rice. Place a sheet of nori seaweed, shiny side down, on a sushi mat. Spread the rice evenly over the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top. Place salmon, tuna, and avocado slices in the center of the rice. Roll the sushi into a cylinder shape with the sushi mat. Rep with the rest of the nori and ingredients. Sushi rolls should be cut into bite-sized pieces. Serve with wasabi paste and soy sauce.

Instructions: Rinse sushi rice under cold water until water runs clear. In a rice cooker, combine rice and water. Cook according to rice cooker instructions. In a small saucepan, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Heat until sugar dissolves. Transfer cooked rice to a large bowl. Pour vinegar mixture over rice and fold gently to combine. Let cool to room temperature. Slice salmon, tuna, avocado, and cucumber into thin strips. Place a nori sheet on a bamboo sushi mat. Spread a thin layer of rice over the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top. Arrange strips of salmon, tuna, avocado, and cucumber in the center of the rice. A fusion twist on classic sushi, these sushi burgers combine juicy grilled tuna with creamy avocado and crisp cucumber, all wrapped in nori and sushi rice. They are a delightful handheld treat bursting with flavor.
Ingredients: 4 sushi-grade tuna steaks 4 oz each. 1/2 cup soy sauce. 2 tablespoons rice vinegar. 1 tablespoon honey. 1 teaspoon sesame oil. 4 nori sheets. 2 cups cooked sushi rice. 1 avocado, sliced. 1 cucumber, thinly sliced. Pickled ginger and wasabi, for serving.
Instructions: To make the sauce, mix the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame oil in a small bowl. Put the tuna steaks in the mixture and let them sit for 15 minutes. Get a grill or grill pan hot, but not too hot. To get the doneness you want, grill the tuna steaks for one to two minutes on each side. Lay out the nori sheets on a flat surface. Place an equal amount of cooked sushi rice on top of each nori sheet. On top of the rice, put slices of avocado and cucumber. Taco steaks grilled should be put on top of the cucumber and avocado. As sushi burritos, roll the nori sheets up tight. Cut each roll in half or into four equal pieces. You can dip them in extra soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi.
