It’s end streak assignments period for my CELTA so I’m very stressed and hence channel the stress by making my children suffer.

Synopsis: Some weeks into his recovery post Platefall, Reno stumbles upon a horrific discovery in one of the toilet cubicles.

Note - everyone is going to be okay, I promise. This contains Tseng/Rufus, Rude/Reno and some Tseng/Reno. Heavy angst of course.

Let's Make A Deal - A Turk Fic

“Tell you what, Mr. “I’ll die trying”,” She began. Reno felt that comfort washing over him. “I’ll make you a deal. If you can get your little plan to succeed then I’ll find a way to come and visit. But only for a little while.”  Reno bit his lip to stop from grinning. Like he needed more incentive to meddle in Elena and Tseng’s personal lives.

Over the phone, Reno tells Cissnei about his attempts to get Elena to make a move on Tseng. She gives him a reason to try a little harder.

An ambitious fifteen-year-old exchange student from Wutai befriends the restless, reckless teenage son of the President of Shinra Inc. The ensuing fallout will create repercussions for years to come. 

Here’s adolescent Tseng on work experience, with his ill-fitting second-hand suit and a terrible tie from the Shinra lost and found charity box. He’s very proud of his Shinra company badge. It symbolises the future. He has big, big dreams.

So I uh, kinda fell out of the fandom for what, like a year? What a weird year. I was super hyped for the remake of course, then the pandemic hit and put everything on hold for a bit...I also now have an additional child which doesn’t leave a lot of time for well, anything really :D

Anyway, all this to say that the familiar itch to read fanfic is returning and damn I am in the mood for some Turkfic. Does anyone have anything good to recommend? Have you read anything recently that really floats your boat? I’d love to hear about it.

I’m steeling myself to dive into the murky post-Remake waters of AO3 for the first time in a looooong time but I really don’t know what to expect. What’s the state of the fandom these days?

Smoke taught snowflakes, spilling in spirals down around the ground and Tseng watched them, idly. It always came back to Icicle. Turks fanfic archive

I am thinking of starting a page on Fanlore where we can collate and categorise all our favourite Turks fanfic. It will be a kind of mega rec-list. Is anybody interested in helping me with this? It’ll be a low priority project for me, but I’m interested in learning more about how to create/edit a wiki.
