This is a fandom event dedicated to celebrating Bonnie Bennett in all forms her magic, her strength, her friendships, her relationships, and everything in between.

The dates are currently to be determined, but the event will take place sometime in February 2027. Prompts will be posted soon.

Everyone is welcome to participate. You can create fanfiction, edits, gifs, art, headcanons, or anything else inspired by the prompts.

How it works:

KLAUS MIKAELSON’S LISP

Can we just for one second talk about the S-tier level of attractiveness that was Klaus's lisp in early TVD? Like, excuse me?? He would look Elena or Stefan dead in the eye and say something absolutely unhinged and murderous, but do it with that soft, sibilant thisp and my brain would just short-circuit. ⚡️

It made him sound like a literal predator who didn't even have to raise his voice to end you. Every "Sweetheart" or "Love" hit like a shot of pure serotonin. It was the "I'm a thousand-year-old hybrid but I sound like velvet and sin" energy for me.

I don't care about his hybrid army or his family drama—I care about the fact that every time he spoke, I was ready to risk it all. It was peak sexy. When that lisp started fading away in the later seasons, a part of my soul went with it.

BRING BACK THE LISP. HE SOUNDED LIKE A GOD DAMN DREAM. 🗣️💦

This is the great freaking scene and now one of my favorites with Klaus and Cami! He isn't his usual hot headed self here, where he usually would be in that situation. He's just so sweet and honorable! It's just poetic that Cami collapses in his arms instead of alone somewhere. The dialogue is just an additionally nice touch 🖤

(I won't go into details of what led up to this scene because that'd be spoilers).

Chapter Seven: What He Does Not Take

Kol

Restraint was not a virtue Kol Mikaelson had ever cultivated.

He had survived centuries on impulse — on appetite, on the simple pleasure of wanting something and taking it before it could be taken from him. Regret came later, if it came at all.

Bonnie Bennett complicated that in ways he did not care to examine too closely.

He stayed away.

That was the first mistake.

Mystic Falls made it easy to find her — her magic hummed through the town like a low current, familiar now in a way that unsettled him. Even when he wasn’t looking for her, he felt her presence like a bruise he kept pressing.

She had asked for quiet.

So he gave it to her.

Kol stood at the edge of the woods one evening, hands shoved into his coat pockets, watching the lights of town flicker on as dusk settled. He knew exactly where she was. The witch house. Alone. Grounding herself. Pretending she wasn’t thinking about him.

He smiled faintly.

They were both terrible liars.

Every instinct in him urged movement — to appear, to provoke, to tease a reaction out of her sharp mouth and sharper eyes. He imagined the way she would look at him when she noticed him standing there, irritation masking something warmer beneath it.

That was the problem.

Wanting her reaction was different from wanting her body.

More dangerous.

Kol exhaled slowly and forced himself to stay where he was.

“You’re learning,” he muttered to himself. “Unfortunate development.”

He thought of the kiss — not the heat of it, but the care. The way she had chosen him instead of falling into him. The way her magic had flared, then steadied, like it trusted him not to push.

No one had ever trusted Kol Mikaelson with restraint before.

The thought should have irritated him.

Instead, it rooted him to the spot.

Later, he passed the Grill and deliberately did not go in. He caught her reflection in the window — laughing softly at something Caroline had said — and felt the sharp, unhelpful urge to ruin that sound by making it about him.

He kept walking.

By the third day, it felt intentional. Heavy. Like holding back a tide with his bare hands.

He found himself asking questions he despised.

What did she need?

What would not hurt her?

What would she choose if he didn’t corner her into choosing him?

That last one stayed with him.

Kol stopped on a quiet street, the night pressing close around him, and laughed under his breath.

“Bloody hell,” he said. “You’re serious.”

He had wanted witches before. Power before. Fire and fury and brief, intoxicating collisions.

This was different.

This was choosing not to show up when he could. Not to touch when he wanted to. Not to remind her how easily he could unravel her composure.

Because if he did that now, he would lose her.

And Kol Mikaelson had lost enough things to recognize the shape of it.

When he finally allowed himself to approach the witch house days later, he stopped at the threshold — close enough to feel her magic, far enough not to intrude.

He didn’t knock.

He didn’t announce himself.

He simply stood there, silent, proving something to himself that he had never needed to prove before.

Restraint, he realized, was not about absence.

It was about choice.

And for Bonnie Bennett, he was choosing — deliberately, painfully —

Choices

Chapter Eight: The Problem With Restraint

Bonnie noticed it on a Tuesday, which felt rude.

Kol Mikaelson was many things — annoying, charming, dangerous, occasionally useful — but subtle had never been one of them.

And yet.

He was standing in her doorway, hands deliberately visible, posture relaxed in a way that felt… practiced.

“Before you say anything,” he said lightly, “I knocked.”

“You waited three seconds,” Bonnie replied.

“Progress,” he grinned. “I’m evolving.”

She eyed him. Something was off. Not bad. Just… different.

Normally by now he’d be circling her, commenting on the spell chalk on her hands, teasing her about the faint crease between her brows. Instead, he stayed put, letting her space remain hers.

That should not have been attractive.

Unfortunately, it was.

Bonnie folded her arms. “What do you want, Kol?”

He tilted his head. “To talk.”

She blinked. “That’s it?”

“Well, I also want to kiss you,” he added cheerfully, “but I’m not.”

Her heart did a stupid little flip.

“You’re… not?”

“Nope.” He leaned against the doorframe, entirely too relaxed about it. “I’ve been informed restraint is a desirable trait.”

“By who?”

“Me,” Kol said. “Recently. Against my will.”

Bonnie laughed despite herself. “You’re impossible.”

“True. But notice how I’m impossible over here.”

She stepped closer without realizing it. He didn’t move. Didn’t reach.

That was the problem.

“Are you trying to prove something?” she asked softly.

His expression shifted — just a little. Not teasing. Not sharp.

“I’m trying not to lose something,” he said.

Her breath caught.

The silence stretched — heavy but warm, charged without tipping over. Bonnie lifted her hand, hesitated, then rested it lightly against his chest.

“You know,” she said, “this isn’t actually making things easier.”

Kol smiled, slow and real. “Didn’t say it would.”

Their faces were close now. Close enough that she could feel the faint hum of his presence, steady instead of overwhelming.

She rose onto her toes.

The front door slammed downstairs.

Bonnie jerked back. Kol groaned.

“Tragic,” he muttered. “Utterly tragic.”

She laughed, breathless, heart racing.

“Get out before someone sees you.”

He stepped back obediently, then paused. “For the record,” he said, “that was me being good.”

Bonnie smiled. “I noticed.”

Kol grinned — pleased, undone, restrained.

“Good,” he said. “I was hoping you would.”
