Scott listened devastatingly as Lydia's heart slowed down, he was about to lose another friend, another pack member. He was about to lose Lydia. But he couldn't stand around and watch as Stiles helplessly shook at her so he pushed the boy out of the way and grabbed her neck, his teeth blaring and his dark eyes suddenly bleeding red. Just as his haste plan to bite her became clear to the people in the room, his ears tingled and suddenly he stopped. A beat. Scott watched with hopefully eyes as his fangs went back in but his eyes stayed the same. Everyone watched as Lydia's eyes flattered up, immediately meeting those of the alpha hovering over her. Scott's eyes softened then turned back to their warm yet wet brown ones. "Lydia," he breathed out in relief.
